Mike, You do have an impressive collection. I hope you get those issues worked out soon and are able to get it to the track and tear up the streets. I really like Moslers, but since you have 2 getting an Aventador in a year sounds like a great plan to me, those are sharp! Also I wasn't aware you had a brand new corvette, will you post a pic? How much hp are you hoping to get after the upgrade?
Hey Mike, Congrats on the new Mosler! I have to warn you about going to the Autobahn.....you're going to love it! And, will probably want to do it over and over again. I did most of my driving at Gingerman raceway and Putnam Park. I took the Viper ACR to the Autobahn one time - what a fast track compared to what I was used to. I managed to run a 2:38 by the end of the day. Wanted to go faster, but fear of wrecking prevailed!!! I would love to see your Mosler on track. See ya soon. Thanks to FordMan for letting me know that you guys are on this site. Scott
My daughter saw some crazy 430 owner driving at night at Scheels. I almost lost my Seville in a pothole recently. I like your style New Vette will be here in May ordered a dark blue convertible. Scott maybe we can get a bunch of cars to go to a race track some day.
All of us going to the track would be great. Fastest guy buys dinner! No sandbagging, Mike! LOL Put some miles on the scud this weekend - Man it felt good to drive!!! Die Winter!
Welcome to best thread Scott, nice of you to finally join us lol it is always great to hear of people putting miles on their cars! Mike I am looking forward to seeing both your new Mosler & new corvette. Scott might be buying dinner; he has the experience, but then again Mike has the Mosler. That would be a fun day indeed. I am ready for the nice weather to arrive & stay. Looking forward to doing some car spotting.
Its nutz. Radical SR3. A new 2013. So damn comfortable. A business partner & I checked it out Saturday - then next thing I knew its a done deal & heading to the Autobahn garage next to our Miatas! For members these cars hold the full course lap record (2:21)... Our plan is to reset the record - again & again
Powertec 1340cc 4-cylinder double overhead cam engine, dry sump with remote oil reservoir & oil cooler. Engine performance: 210bhp, 130ft/Ibs, 10,500rpm - paddle shifted.
Very nice, the color & look & everything! I would pick paddles for the track, I feel that would be quicker. It is supposed to go from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, what a beast!
Wow, that is fast - seriously fast!!! I only have one day of track time on the full course, and anything sub 2:40 passes most of the street cars on the track. But....2:21 would make me feel like I should sign autographs when I returned to the pits! Have fun this summer!
So I get on I-72 towards Decatur at 6 o'clock this morning with snow on the roads & driving the opposite direction I see a new purple Maserati Granturismo going about 20 mph hour. Not a bad spot for this area & for being in the snow. He is going to need a good detailer after that run. Very nice looking car though.
I can't wait for the first Formula 1 race of the year....this weekend! Back to my ritual of watching the race and then going out for a drive in a car that is loaded with F1 technology and design input provided by Michael Schumacher. Go Team Scuderia!!!
