I saw the silver 99 in person and it looked good and had a clean carfax. Apart from some light wear on the seat bolster and an aftermarket stereo. Indeed, looked like a bargain for someone.

Looks like the silver 99 F1 went for $35,000.

The 98 GTS F1 was a no sale at $56,000.

Prior JM Legend Car. Decent car, but not all that clean. Interior is a disaster(probably a strong word) and rear bumper resprayed with no black stripe

Wonder about that one as well. IIRC it was sold on e-bay for ~$65k (or it was de-listed when the bidding was at $65k) and been at Black Horse ever since.

I'd love to add a street legal 355 challenge one day.

    That, or an F40. :p

What goes up must come down. Especially when it was mass produced. :p

The F40 was attainable at sub $300k multiple times over the last 15 years.

Not saying it will ever get that low again, but a correction will happen when cheap money isn't flooding the economy the world over. :)

People are paying cash because they can't get much of a return on it anyway with interest rates so low. The opportunity cost of having $1m+ tied up in a car when rates are at 1-2% is only 10-20k a year. If rates every get back to historic norms of 6-8% or more, the opportunity cost goes up dramatically and will certainly change things. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

It will be very interesting to see what happens to car values if interests rates in the US go negative.
