I imagine that could really send things to the stratosphere. I actually hope it doesn't happen because it would have a bad ending.

Interesting to see that the cheapest Berlinetta/GTS's on eBay are hovering around the $80-90K range with the average well above $100K.

I know these are asking prices, but is the general consensus that the non-spider market floor is at least $80K for relatively clean title/story car these days? Even mileage has less impact that in the past from what I can tell (unless you are well north of 50K miles).

Any manual GTB/GTS model here in the UK are trading well north of £100k ($150k) now, only spiders are lagging behind a bit , for now at least....

In Canada Berlinetta's don't last very long. I've seen maybe 3 or 4 come up for sale up north in the last year.

Spiders seem to sit for a while for 20-25% less than a comparable Berlinetta/GTS.

In Australia manual F355 GTB's in good condition and popular colours are trading at around $200K AUD = £100k, if you can find one...

Demand for GTS / Spider is softer, ditto for anything with F1 transmission.

It's a UAE spec car. Basically the same as a North American version, but they had access to some options which weren't offered here.

That's correct. FoD purchased this car out of the UAE in 2000...the options not offered in the US include; Hi-Fi, and Road-Legal Leather Covered Roll Bar. I sold it a local client that same year where it remained for several years before I lost track of the car. It resurfaced in Wyoming and we managed to get it back. I really love this car, it's my favorite of all the cars we brought back from the UAE.

So what are you basing this statement off of? What am I missing that makes this look like it is not a 7800 mile car? Or are you just saying you don't believe it because, as we all know, sub 10K mile Ferraris are so rare?

Because spiders are valued equally if not higher. In 5 years it will equalize when euro cars can be brought here without prejudice.

Different strokes for different folks. I think the culture in Europe values the drop tops higher.

It's hard to keep a Berlinetta on your lot here in Canada. Only one for sale and it was just listed...probably won't be around long.

In Japan/Europe there's tons of Berlinetta's for sale, and not so many Spiders.

What a beautiful car that is, but what a waste that in 19 years being its only been enjoyed on the road for 4,000 miles.
Has it really been worth it value wise, i dont think so. 355s in Britain with 10 times the milage are being sold for more than this one. Although I realise the US cars are cheaper in comparison.
Great car for a collector from this point, but what was the point of the last 19 years? All them thousands of hours of lost open road enjoyment :(

Put it in formal dress (challenge grill, OEM floor matts and a black top) and it's a little brother of my car. Mine is older (95) and has a more mature, 23k miles on it.
