Ferrari 250 GT TDF gearbox...?

    Hi!
    Sorry to noise you Sirs, but I was unable to find the period correct competition gearbox for those cars for the years '57-'58-'59 (for modeling purpose of the TDF and LM cars).
    Books and Internet make few things for me and the restoration also give me some problem.
    Starkey book show a ribbed gearbox like the GTO one...seems to me too early for a TDF...may be best the similar, not ribbed of the Barkways California?
    May you help me?
    I will post some pic to explain the question.

    It depends on the particular car. Some TDF's had the smooth case as the one in the California restoration photo and some had the ribbed case like the one in the TDF restoration photo.
    I don't know if it was an early/late thing, or if the ribbed case was something that could be specified for a competition car.

    For your purposes, The TDF ribbed gear box type 508c would be correct Barkways
    Ribbed TDF picture is good
