@ Alex, thank you, But car Is not for sale
Hi Gents, I am the Race Team Manager for Consolidated Chemical Co. (CCC) We had the ABS fitted locally to our car #2028 as part of the deal when we bought it, and then when #2014 was sold it also had ABS fitted locally. When they ran with ACEMCO they had no ABS as it was not permitted. Our car starts no problem with out a pre-warmer. Need to make sure the car battery is fully charged. Michelin slicks, target pressure 27lb hot. If anyone is interested in #2028, we currently have it for sale and listed on classiccars.com Cheers Simon
That was quick Our pressure was a little higher (27 psi is about 1.85 bar), we were 2.1 or 2.2 bar when hot. But last week getting them hot on a wet and/or damped Ascari was very hard. But what a sound (360 NGT with open exhaust ......) ciao Oscar
Not that quick, we have had it advertised on Classiccars.com for 6-8 months and then all of a sudden 4 people put are interested in one month!! = sold and a happy boss.
Hi Oscar, That's way too high. 1.85 - 1.90 BAR is good and over 1.95 bar they start to lose grip and compliance. You may have to start down at 1.35-1.40 cold.

Can't comment on 2014, specifically, but I can comment on driving a 360GT. As can others. Generally, I've found it to be a very, very good model (but, remember that these are now almost 15 years old, so, compared to today's cars, they're somewhat dated and lower tech). The 360 had considerable development as a street and then race (challenge) car, but the GT was a big step up. Michelotto did a good job with upgrading the basic Challenge car, and the factory took over from there with incremental improvements. And, teams, of course, did their own development. Braking is superb, and the car is definitely over-braked (and without ABS, it's easy to flat-spot tires when scuffing in new slicks). It's a higher revving car that lacks lower-end torque, so it's really a momentum car. It likes smooth inputs but doesn't do much to surprise the driver as it approaches the limits. The aero grip is good, and rewards those who know their techniques. To me, this means braking earlier, setting the car properly for the corner and then going through much faster than you'd think and trusting in physics (you can get some push when you're not going fast enough). Steering, braking and shifting are all reasonably light and it's very easy to do an hour (or more) in the car without getting too fatigued. Great sounds. CW
Hi CW, Nice wrap up and agree on most. When outside temp is cold getting slicks hot is not easy. Flat spots are easy and expensive. But when hot car is fantastic and I don't know any car breaking that good. ABS is nice to have (is in my N-GT, my 360 GT is without) but not necessary. Revs and sound is great and a regular Challenge has nothing to do with a GT. Open exhausts are beyond anything but most tracks don't allow them. Use only the Elf LM fuel! (Eur 4,50/Lt). Nice some owners are here! Car is in my opinion underestimated in price and performace and when hot you are easy one of the fast cars on a track, but with cold slicks don't try to be smart... Ciao Oscar
