Very nice 456. Surprised you haven't had more interest. There was a very similar one (except color was a metallic red) out of North Carolina approximately 10 months ago that sold for about $80k, just before gated cars started to really take off in asking price.

With your price drop I have to believe you will get a lot of interest, so GLWS!

Mine is the lowest listed one in Germany for several weeks now, but not much serious interest. Maybe buyers here are afraid of the US-Model.

This may well be true, this situation exists here in Australia, non Australian cars tend to be cheaper than local delivered cars. This exist for quite a number of years until the cars become quite rare, then it doesn't matter as much.

Thanks. I'm kind of surprised myself. I lot of car for the money and this one needs nothing.

Ferraris can take a long time to sell, especially private party.
I have seen my cars being resold at a significant profit when I thought the market wasn't there.
    Patience.

My "high mileage" F355 was listed for 6 month until it was sold. I am very patient since I have no real need to sell the car.

My US-456GT would be worth to be exported/imported back to the USA. The original title exists, there should be no problem with import regulations. Shipping is about $2,500.

All imperial gauges come with the car, build in if wanted.

You are so right Chris. Unfortunately, I'm lacking the selling patience virtue. Okay with the buying, don't care for the selling. Don't need to sell, it's just when I make up my mind, I want it done. That causes me to also sell lower than I should. I will try to do better. The biggest problem I see with the 456's is the market comparisons. Difficult to come up with a good price range. Through what media did you finally sell your 355?

The 355 was listed on Mobile.de. Compared to the USA the big advantage in Germany is that minimum 95% of all cars listed online for sale are found on "mobile" or "autoscout".

Sometimes it takes some time. If not red (or blue in the case of the 456), the market is a little thinner. US model is in a way more interesting I think with the side markers, but again thins the potential market a bit. Add to that that it's holiday season now.
There was a €50k manual metallic red GT in Rome a few weeks back. Even though Italy seems to generally have more examples on offer and cars there seem to be for sale longer, it sold within days - even with a few issues and tattyness, it was very sharply priced.

I have lowered the price of my 1995 456 GT to $78,500, but will seriously entertain any realistic offers. The description of this beautiful, needs nothing, fully sorted and serviced Rosso Barchetta/tan car can be found in my classified of 07/15/2016.

I had the same exact model back in the 70's. Wish I had it now.

The yelow one (giallo) looks familiar to me - I guess its has been imported from Russia (St Petersburg for sure). Seller said that its a rare GranPrix version (I've never heard about any limited editions). It had been listed for quite a long period and then re-exported.

Thanks for that Graeme. Maybe I won't be so quick to give mine away. These cars have been underrated for far too long, IMHO, as they say.

GS- I find Hagerty to be behind the curve price wise, either up or down. I think your latest asking price is more than fair and I just recommended your car to a friend of mine who is considering getting back into F-car ownership. I suggest you go take a large drink of patience and wait for the right person to come along who will fully appreciate your car.

I can't argue with you. My Mom kept all the patience gene for herself. Didn't pass any along. Ask your friend to talk with me. He won't be disappointed in this car. Thanks.

Will need to sell my newly acquired 1995 GT shortly. 11000 kms on the clock. It'll be interesting to see how the Canadian market prices it.

I think it's because buyers are running out of "cheap" Ferraris to buy. There's really nothing left anymore. The 456 just became the next on the list.

Effectively as one of the last volume manual modern V12 Ferraris and with the recent publicity,
combined with the "out of the blue" jumps in value of the 365/400 2+2 especially RHD manuals. This isn't surprising.

Allan- Looks like a nice one and you do not see many with a Sabbia (maybe Crema) Daytona interior.

We needed a big, honking gear shift lever like that to select reverse for the F1 Ferraris. Would not need the HE repair part most likely with a sturdier lever.

This 456 has been for sale since at least last December with an asking price of $79000. I think they finally sold the 1999 456M GTA for well under $60K
