    ya i do find that odd? im guessing its the room on the property and the laws and reg getting building permits...the "historic district" is very strict and anal so i dont think even king himself can get the board to let him build lol IMO

    He was rumored to have a warehouse somewhere near downtown that had his corvette collection, but I think that's BS.

    I know most of the business owners downtown and a lot of the car guys there as well, and have yet to "stumble" upon the famed King Collection. Now that the old dealership property is vacant, who knows, but I think Peltier owns the real estate (downtown) too.

    He does co-own a ranch of some sort too, maybe they are there.

    My buddy with the p-car shop didn't even know about the 430, but then again, why would he? :)

    Robin Rogers leveled half of a city block (in the Azalea District) for her estate.

    White Maserati QP at Troup and the Loop today. For such a pretty day there wasn't much out.

    Today I spotted a new Audi R8 on a transporter headed east on I-20 between Tyler & Longview.

    It was Silver with a matching "blade". I like them, but maybe the carbon "blade" would be better on that color.

    Awesome, nonetheless, given the current dirth of good spots lately. :(

    I spotted several interesting things on the roads of Tyler today.

    Started off on the loop by Sam's when a beautiful black 997TT pulled out in front of me. Didn't take long to get out of the way, though.

    Next I spotted the same triple black '07 Viper twice, once on Broadway in the morning, and then near the medical district around lunchtime.

    The day ended with yet another black beauty, this time a Maserati GS on 110N and the Loop.

    A really good day to see black cars!!

    Could be J. Kings wife. She is a lot younger. If the plate has the word Royal on it, it is probably her.

    Yup, those were actually two very different years for the Viper.

    I found this interesting, maybe you will as well.:) I recently saw and saved this to my favorites/bookmarks. You can see the variations between certain years of the Viper.

    I think you are right.

    I don't think the TT has a "Royal" plate, though.

    ya she did look a lot younger but i dont think it had the royal plate, i see it once a day usually so ill check next time

    I saw a disturbing image today, A silver Maserati QP with a huge dent in both the passenger doors. Also, last night at the Bank of America, Mr. King in the Porsche TT. Plates say Royal 8.

    As much as that car is driven in Tyler, I knew it would only be a matter of time.

    I did see a couple of Vipers in Tyler yesterday.

    An older red roadster at Chili's on the Loop and a new black roadster in a neighborhood behind the Azalea Post Office.

    Greg, I saw the silver QP pass me the other day, but I didn't get a look at the damage. It was filthy, though.

    Saw one of the trauma surgeons in his new Aston Martin today in the rain. I don't know if it is a vanquish or vantage or what. I have a hard time with the Astons.

    A very pretty car in white.

    I was in Tyler today and spotted a new white Gallardo spider with the top down at 155 & Loop 323.

    It had paper tags and was a bit dirty, looked as if had been driven in some the recent rains.

    Spectacular in the metal, nonetheless.
