    and this F430 was parked near the McDonalds at Wulin Square on Yananlu at 1am. We were again on the way to watch a match of the european football championship in a bar and I justed stoped the Taxi to take some quick pics.

    BTW, does anybody know why so many of these exotic cars drive around without a licence plate especially at night? the 360 in Beijing had no plate, this one doesn't have one and I've seen some others at night driving around without plate. Is this allowed or do the owners just hope that there is no police around?

    To avoid the speeding cameras... the cops unlikely will bother those with exotic cars since they are likely well networked and can get away with any citations. As a foreigner driving the car, even without a proper license in beijing, you will likely be ok as well. I've been pulled over numerous times and every time was let go with a short chat. It is too troublesome for them to deal with foreigners unless it is a more serious matter (i.e. accident).

    and here is a not so unusal car, but this was one of only two Mercedes SL that I saw on the roads within the 6 months that I lived in Hangzhou. And it was just next to the compound where I lived, the other one, a black one, was always parked at the entrance of my compound.
    But the situation with SLs changed over the last 3 years. in 2009 and last year I spotted more of them :)
