at this time it is one or other, but we will take note and see if this can be tweaked. FYI we had a custom design made, so good news is same firm can easily tweak the design. process will be for things to settle down and work on critical and functional bugs first, then we can focus on tweaking design issues. thanks.
There is the "Go to First Unread" will there be a "Go To Last" as well? And is there a sticky where we can check the list of bugs so we don't double post?
you can go to last from other pages, but if already in thread will just have to click last page number as for sticky, I will post new thread, close it and update regularly
Rob, so far, I really like where this is going. The navigation bar at the top, with easy access to subscribed threads and new/recent threads, is awesome! I'm also excited about the layout when browsing through threads; it's easier to scan for me!
Can the profanity filter be disabled somewhere? Can't see it in preferences. I'm a big boy - I can take it...
I understand it is one or the other, but you either want feedback or you don't. If you don't, then fine, but be up front. It seems rather ****ty to give paying customers curt responses when complaints are lodged. Don't ask for feedback and then get bitchy when you get it. That's really a sound way to run people off. I am really trying to embrace he change here, which is why I am trying to stick with the new look, but the new "all white all the time" look is very difficult to read. In addition, it's choppy and doesn't flow. Multiple times now I thought I reached the end of a thread because of breaks in the text blocks only to realize I didn't. Visually, this is bad. Mark
Not particularly crazy about having to log in every time I visit on the same day. The usual navigational issues will be resolved with time.
Mark - I did not take Booker's reply curt in any way. Right now these guys are probably running like chickens with heads cut off. We all (me included) need to cut a little slack
using google dev tools and checking layout between formats. I pads show signature line etc.. in both orientations. All phones do not, only in landscape or horizontal.
we don't need you being so sensitive, I never said we didn't want your feedback. Jack told you option to fix that specific issue and I told you we took note and can work on design issues after functional/bug issues resolved. not sure what else we cold have done except treat you like a kid and I don't think you want that.
at 610 width, it's cut down to exclude signature and a few other things.. not sure what they are called. at 611 pixel width it pops up.
This is to save space but we can see what it would be like to ad signatures to mobile. I don't see signatures even in horizontal mobile
hmm, I'm not code savy at all, I was checking the layout via the google dev tools in chrome. Also jumped over to firefox and using grease monkey I get security alerts about the login not being secure.
