Freaking Hamilton! Where did he find 1.4s at the end?

Stroll, Ocon my hat's off to you both! Well done for the young guns (including Max)!

How did Ferrari fumble so badly on home turf?

Wrong...last week he was praised for something others did before and I did not understand (start-finish victory).
Today he drove 1 second faster than enybody else and THIS was impressive, more impressive than most of his other poles

The Ferrari does not seem to work in the wet unless Seb and Kimi forgot how to drive

I'm guessing they switched to a dry set-up between sessions. They know there are penalties for RBR so probably gambled on getting past Stroll and Ocon. Will it get them to the front? I think they'll be right there for the race

They were great in Q1 Q2 but fell off in Q3? I don't get it

I recall a guy on this forum back in 2009 predicting he would rewrite the record book. Guess he was fairly prescient (no, it wasn't me)

    Hint: it was you lol

Because you implied that his "detractors" can not admit when he did well ;)

Who will crash on Hamilton on the first corner, Stroll or Ocon?

I'm thinking the same thing. MB will tell its customers to keep their drivers away from Lewis or no more engines

Set up change is the only possible explanation. Seb was rolling in Q2 on inters. No other reasonable explanation.

I haven't actually watched it, but regards Hamilton, if there was water on the track, only a fool would bet against him doing well, and that stems back from me watching him in karts with standing water on the track.

This is going to be a boring race up at the front. Lewis will cruise away.

The middle pack is where the action is....

What the hell happened there Ferrari? Ham is going to cruise to the finish. Zero threat for him, unless someone torpedoes him in turn 1, which would be awesome
