Race Day or should it be Just under 5 hours till the start of the race. The first few laps should be entertaining Forza Ferrari + Ricci
Looking forward to watching Ferrari storm through the field to take second and third place. Ham will be gone and out of site if he survives T1. What odds on Ver crashing out on lap one? I hope he doesn't but the odds are not in his favour! I bet Alonso parks it by half way.... As for Stroll - his quali performance was properly impressive, but let's be realistic, the Williams is utter junk in the handling department so he will have a tough day today.

Alonso has been much more lucky in his choice of GF than of F1 teams the last years! He should be smiling!
Massa's advice to Stroll in P2: 'Just go for it' - Massa's advice to Stroll in P2 - 'Just go for it' LH watch out LOL!!
Italian Grand Prix strategy guide MONZA, Italy -- With rain falling throughout qualifying, the tyre choice for the start of the Italian GP is free for all 20 drivers (usually the top 10 have to use the same tyres they used in Q2). Pirelli reported minimal degradation during Friday practice, so all teams are expected to run a one-stop strategy split between the super-soft and soft compounds -- the only question is which one you go for first. New-for-new in qualifying spec, the super-soft was 0.7s per lap quicker than the softs, although that delta is likely to be less in the race. Degradation wise, the super-soft suffered minimal less than 0.1s per lap and the soft barely degraded at all. Combined, the performance advantage and minimal degradation of the super-soft is likely to make that compound the one to be on for most of the race, but -- being a low working range tyre -- high temperatures will see it more susceptible to degradation than the soft. Although the teams experienced some blistering on the front tyres under braking during Friday practice, Pirelli is not expecting it to cause major performance issues in the race. Instead, rear tyre degradation is likely to trigger a decision to pit, so keep an eye out for drivers struggling for grip as they exit the slow chicanes.
That just shows how bad it must be trying to race the McLaren/Honda - You have a girlfriend who likes like that, and still can't smile about your life!

Lance said that he is not fighting for the WDC so he has to show some respect for Lewis.Thats good but he really needs to go for it off the line otherwise he will get swamped on the long run down to T1.
Not a cloud in the sky at Monza today. Hopefully Ferrari set the cars up for today, which would help explain the dismal performance in quali.
