Yep. Hired as a #2 of course, Mercedes couldn't risk another season of another driver as quick as Hamilton!
Did you catch his post qualy interview? Referring to struggles in the wet he says "even I..." He really thinks he's the greatest of all time.
I also missed it went straight to the pub. What a ****hhead he is. Last week commented that all the Dutch fans where out there for him somehow, yesterday kept thinking he has loads of fans here...the booing told another story!
He is poor sportsman but excels at playing mind games with competitors , most exceptionally getting under Ferrari's skin. He is a master of self-promotion, and consequently a media darling in one of the world's top media markets. As a result, he gets a pass for his obnoxiousness and poor sportsmanship. And if only he didn't outpace Ferrari by 34 seconds on their home track, we'd all have nothing to gripe about. And if Maurizio had any clue how to time and plan tire change strategy in the first several races, or didn't get snookered by a "gentlemen's" agreement with Mercedes(for **** sake!) not to run more competitive engines, or Seb hadn't retaliated for the presumed brake check in Baku...
