I don't know the car but I can guess at your hunch...The red gts that Roy Cats had for sale is up in Columbus now too. Would like to have one in cincinnati also!
At a dealer or a private owner? I have mine ( 6051) in Yellow Springs, maybe Ohio is getting hip! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Doug, Are we finally going to get you to bring 6051 to the Lamborghini Owners National Meet this year? Mine (6243) will be there. Joe Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dude, I looked at your profile. That's quite the impressive collection you have. Congrats. Would love to see the Ghibli, Islero, Kamsin, and Bora in a picture together.
I'd love to make it, hard to say presently. My life is more out of control than ever. Islero is in the garage and my driveway is gone! Home improvements are going to dominate things for awhile---be awhile till I come up for air. My friend saw the black Islero again, dang!
Doug, ask your friend to cross the road to stop it next time... ask him to record its VIN & to shot pictures...
My friend was driving his dump truck in the opposite direction both times. Doesn't make a very good chase vehicle or he would have pursued it!
Private owner I believe, he has it serviced at NJB. They're also finishing up out LP400 engine & trans.
Hi everyone, I just received this model of 6300. The quality is absolutely amazing. It was done by CMA models, Marshall Buck. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice model Edouard... so if the 1/1 scale miss to fire its 12 cylinders then you still have to small one to parade...
That's is pretty fantastic! May I ask, how much it cost, about? I have to sedle of down this Minichamps 1/43. :/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Excellent!! Thanks. It's good to see them side by side to compare proportions, etc. Looks like the Ghibli ans Islero have about the same color interior.
Hi Guys, I will soon be without a Vintage Car for the first time in over 35years. Some of you witnessed me letting my Espada go. I actually gave it away. My Islero is the last car that I have. If anyone knows of someone who would like to have it, please contact me today. I have dropped the price on it and will make an even better deal to someone. I will not get into the reason why I am selling. It just has to happen. I hate the experience, and want it to be over. Thanks for your help. Please ask questions only if you are seriously interested in the car. I welcome anyone to inspect, or have it inspected. Thanks, Steve. Image Unavailable, Please Login
First of all I want to apoligise to all Islero owners. I have decide to quit trying to get what I believe the Islero is worth, and take what I know is a great deal for someone. Good luck to you all, Steve. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steve, I've done my best to help you but my folk is not quick as you were expecting, sorry that you have to drop your price...
Thanks Olivier. I just hope someone does not take this as desperation. They will find if they go there; I will not sell the car to them. It is just the right thing to do for my family at this stage. They are the most important part of my life. I wish all of you guys the best. Your friend, Steve
Hi everyone, This saturday, I went to the Alsace region of France (3 1/2h drive) with the Islero, once agin it drove superbly. This was the first time I could use it really extensively on the highway, and wow, I was impressed by its overall stability and aptitude for speed. I went there, because some friend of mine offered me a circuit drive of some supercars, including a Diablo VT. Very nice, car, much more refined than I thought. The clutch, gearbox, and steering seem to be pretty light by Islero standards. Apart from its size, it is very driveable and very civilized. But what amazed me the most was how similar to the Islero the power delivery and the sound of the motor was. Except that it was in a more quiet way. And all in all, I would say that I have more sensations in my Islero than in a Diablo. Obviously I didn't go far with the Diablo neither I dare to say that I can understand a car after 3 laps. But, my first feeling is that I take really a lot of pleasure with the Islero and that I am not sure I would take more in a Diablo. I am glad, because after that I love even more the Islero! I noticed the proportions of your car and the others in the parking lot - that audi next to it looks huge by comparison!
I just bought this italian magazine from September 1968 and I wanted to share. There is a very nice and large poster of an Islero. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Edouard, where is this circuit? Doesn't look like Bresse, since I was on Anneau du Rhin on Saturday. Raymond
