A large number of pre-registered Italian Car Day participants attended the I wish Ferrari event today organized by Bodies By Design and Daytona Auto. We had some rain , but the sun was out for the drive with the children. Fantastic event, ever well organized , Fantastic parent and their children including some involved with Safehaven. Its a 1972 Fiat Dino Spider 2.4 . It was built at the Ferrari factory on the same line as the 246 Dino Ferrari. It has the same V6 2.4 Litre engine and transmission. They only produced 424 from 1969 to 1972 . If you attend the Italian Car Day event , you will have the privilege of seeing two of these cars. Dear Participants, If you go back to my #50 post in this thread (and pics)....we promissed you some cool stuff. Well I am happy to announce that Ferrari of Ontario will be participating as a Vendor. Some of the beautiful cars that will be on display are the 1989 F1 of Nigel Mansel, a 599 XX, a 1970 Daytona, a 1991-333SP Racer car and one of the only 8C Alpha Romeos ..I will stop here for now ..you will have to come down to the event to find out what more surprises we have for you. if you were still on the side lines....well the above should rev. you up !
