Maybe they should have ask for a bailout.

    It doesn't matter, . . after November 4, 2008 they will be
back in business. Obama stated today that he will spread the
wealth to Lambo Orange and Lambo Calabasas.

Call back on November 5 or January 23, 2009.

    Good Night

Won't that really hurt the Lamborghini retail market (selling all that inventory [new/used] at auctions) ??

Much of it actually hit the streets last week at prices that were simply shocking. Majority of the cars were Gallardo Spyders, few SL, and a few Murci and LP640s. I was at one of the "warehouse" last week looking at some of the cars. As a Lambo owner, it was truly painful to see just how low these particular cars are going for.

That is a shame. Perhaps the factory should step in with some plan to avoid this; but, maybe that's impossible. It is bad for owners of used Lamborghinis when the prices are tumbling. I guess it's possible that things will return to normal once the economy "shakes out" ???

There's a rumor over on the Lotus talk board that Lotus/Lambo of Calabasas and O.C. Lambo have shut down. Anyone know if this is true? I know the owners shuttered their Beverly Hills Lotus franchise about a month ago. One potential Lambo buyer claimed that O.C. Lambo had been selling cars below invoice.

    Anybody know the truth?

The 100% truth is they are out of business, the whole operation gone (BH, Calabasas and O.C). They are NOT getting bought, there is NO new owner. Both Calabasas and O.C are empty of cars, the inventory was seized by the bank and both locations were chained up by the bank and bank security is on the premises. That's it, end of story, cut print.

This is definetly sad. However, being main stores I am sure someone will get them up and running.
