I always remember this article and I can't remember if it was in Autocar or Motor about the RHD SV that was then owned by Ronald Stern. It was lime green (now red) then but it looked yellow to me in the pics. I bought the magazine when I was about 11 and I was besotted with the car. My father bought an SV the following year but unfortunately he took the magazine off me and threw it out because I spent too much time looking at it when I should have been doing my homework. If anyone has it I'd be extremely grateful if you could post the article on here. I remember there being a pic of a red Ferrari 365 Boxer in this particular mag with registration AEN 869M.

Was that the article that started by describing the car was no more, as the accelerator had stuck and the car crashed into a wall?

This story is more of an obituary than an account of four marvelous, heart-stopping and occasionally petrifying days with a Lamborghini Miura SV.

I can scan and post over the weekend if you like.

Thanks for your reply. No, it wasn't that one though it would be great if you have the one you're talking about and could post it here as I'm sure people would enjoy reading it very much. My father was offered the crashed car for £1500 and he nearly bought it for spares for his SV but someone beat him to it.

Thanks very much, Uno. Yes, please scan it and post it here. It's a great article. If you or anyone comes across the article I was initially talking about above please post it here.

My first book was Lamborghini Miura by Coltrin & Marchet, X-Mas gift from my parents back in -83 i belive.

My second book was Lamborghini by Jean-Marc Borel, also in -83 or -84. Not the lether bound edition, still looking for that one.

Btw, when i did discover the ILR on the web, my search for Lambo books started seriously :)

Im still looking for an certain Checkoslovakian Lambo book, if some one have one for sale please PM me. (book is not mentioned on the ILR)
