    My upholsterer is having a tough time making up leather door panels for my car. I fabricated 1/4" wood panels and gave them to him, but it seems like for the leather panels have another raised center panel. I can only find some details on the construction of the vinyl panels, not the leather ones. Can anyone provide some details about how the leather 2 piece door panels are constructed?

    You're going to have trouble with 1/4" thick panels. you door handle won't work and the cup that goes behind the handle won't fit. Your panel is way too thick.
