C & C Saturday Please come out to Cars and Coffee for Dystonia this Saturday May 10th at Captains Quarters on River Rd from 9-11 am. This month the Prospect Rotary club will be hosting a Pancake breakfast in the corridor of Captains Quarters for $10/person. The proceeds will go to benefit both Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia and Parkinsons foundation as well as the Rotary Club's cancer charity they have chosen. We will also be selling raffle tickets for the brand new Vespa we are raffling off for Dystonia. Please make sure to come to the information booth (we accept cash or credit card) to purchase your $20 ticket and see the Vespa. For every raffle ticket purchased, you will get a free bottle of Eagle One car detailer or spray wax( while supplies last). Thank you to Eagle One for donating to Cars and Coffee! Just a reminder that this is a charity event to benefit Jacob Spielberg who started Cars and Coffee for Dystonia, 100% of the proceeds are donated to Bachmann-strauss Dystonia and Parkinsosn foundation. Please remember to make a donation since this is a FREE event, we look forward to seeing you all there, weather permitting.
VALLEY DOG DAYS CAR SHOW Would anyone from this C&C be interested in going to a Show in French Lick this summer? Here is a web site with info, and if someone wanted to get more info I can direct you to the folks who are heading up this event.
Ok... I'm confused. It's no longer at captains qtrs? It's now at the ford dealership and it's weekly?
No, Captains Quarters is still every second Saturday. Sorry for the confusion. This is just for information only. The Bill Collins thing is not the official "Louisville Cars and Coffee event", it is just another way to get together, and it's free coffee and donuts, who can turn that down. They also have a restaurant inside if you want a real breakfast. Bill Collins also has some of his collection on display inside.
Im hearing rumors that the Caaptain's Quarters event is coming to an end (for the same reasons the legendary Crystal Cove show in California, that started the entire C&C wave, was ended... People driving like *******s while coming and going, and the property owners getting fed up with the hassle).
I'm pretty sure that erratic driving behavior has nothing to do with the reason we're being booted. Can't think of a better location for such an event, though. But personally, if I HAD to choose another location, it'd be Tumbleweed on the River
