I am staring at my F430 right now.....does that count. I forgot I am in Iowa...I wonder if anyone even knows where that is .....Steve
odd... saw a silver CGT in the exact same spot on Wednesday (hennepin ave and south 6th st down town mpls) what are the odds?
That's really wierd! Today I saw a Porsche Panamera 4 and yesterday I saw an Audi S5 and a Chevrolet Silverado SS at Lord Fletcher's but this guy was yelling at me so I had to get a blind picture of it while running to my dad's car. I got no pictures of the S5 sadly. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw that orange Mercielago by Medicine Lake in Plymouth yesterday afternoon - driving through all of those salty puddles! Not that I am complaining
He said, "Hey, what are you doing?" I said, "Just taking pictures of cars because it is just a hobby." He said, "I cant have you taking pictures of people's cars!" I am pretty happy with the way the Silverado picture came out.
i havent personally spotted it myself but there is now a white Underground Racing twin turbo Gallardo in the state. Will be coming to cars and coffee.
I know a guy who recently picked up a red twin turbo C6 z06. saw it on a trailer if that counts ill try to get him to go to C&C as well... *serious face* but no funny business *serious face*
There is a dearth of nice cars here. It's hard to justify such an expense when one can only drive the car 3 months of the year. My poor buddy spends more time staring at his Ford GT than he does driving it.
yeah... poor guy even in warm climits most folks dont put a lot of miles on their exotics though right?
Well, in warm climates, you can take the car out as it suits you. You're pretty much SOL here in MN from Nov through March (at least this year). Of the people I know with exotics the majority of them do not drive them frequently because of mileage and resale value concerns or because they have more than one exotic and lack the time to devote to driving the cars. Generally speaking, the road quality in Minnesota is lousy nearly year-round, both in terms of surface conditions (snow, ice) and composition (pot holes, etc). There aren't a lot of exotics here, perhaps that's why it feels like we have a large number of fanboys that are willing to drive in blind spots and otherwise do stupid things on the road to capture some cell phone video (at least that's been my experience). The nicest car I'm willing to have here is an Audi S6/S8; and I have to buy that out of state because they go for some weird premium here. but yeah, there are worse problems in the world than having to stare at an exotic car you own but cannot drive for a few months...
