My 348 Road Trip to Texas and Back Adventure

    Eva and I are hitting the road this Saturday driving from Los Angeles to Springtown Texas so I thought I would record the trip with a photo log using this thread.
    Going to visit my parents and do some back road driving with my dad (he'll be chasing me in his 2004 BMW Z3).
    1,396 miles one way to my parents place, so 2,792 just in back and forth miles and special thanks to Craig and the gang at FastCars for the safety check in preparation.
    Should be fun, hope everyone enjoys the pics and as a Plugzit says, Drive it like, you stole it. :)
    My first one is Eva resting in preparation for the long hot road ahead.....

    I thought Eva was your wife or something--man I don't see why people name their cars.
    That being said, I love the road trip, and can't wait to see pics and reports. Glad you're not freaked out about adding that mileage. Well done sir.

    I have always named my cars after beautiful women and in my 348's case she is named after Eva Longoria :)

    Packing up and getting things ready as I am hitting the road around 6:30am.
    The 348 is not equipped with a lot of trunk space and I am taking a few things to give to the neighbor kids who help my parents out from time to time so have to be creative. :)

    Do you have any concerns about rain drops getting thru the slats above the engine compartment? I'm scared to drive in the rain.
