An Alfa loving friend of mine found me a Berlina that had been stored away for decades. After a complete refresh of the fuel, braking, etc systems it is road ready again.
Survivor car with original paint, interior, etc. A few changes from stock-euro carb conversion, sport lowering springs and sway bars, custom header and hotter cams. Runs very well.

I had one of these. They are so much fun and people love the classic Italian looks!

I did the same engine changes. It's a fun engine to rev and the sound of the carbs is great.

Thanks for the kind comments. My car was originally owned by Pete Lovely as his "demo" for the first 20k miles. When it was new, he had the Euro Weber conversion done at the dealer.

Is the Berlina simply a bigger Giulia?

I want a classic Giulia sedan, fun little cars and it's my daughter's name :)

The Berlina is basically the sedan version of the GTV. Same drivetrain, chassis with a longer wb.

Wasn't the the Berlina wind tunnel tested resulting in a better drag coefficient than the GTV?

Giulia was a 101 chassis. Berlina was a 105 with the better brakes etc. Giula Supers were great cars but needed some updates with 105 parts.

Very nice Berlina. Love the color. Spent a lot of time working on Alfas of the period. Still have some of the special tools and shop manuals.

Thought many times about building myself a 2.0L Spider.

I'd get them as loaners when my GTV and later Duetto were in for service at Bobcor Alfa in NJ. Just as much fun to drive as the coupe/spyder, and actually easier-less road noise and better aero. They lean, but they stick.

I had to look it up the TI super was wind tunnel tested and had a Kamm tail, rounded front end, body fluting, fush grill, flush side glass for a low drag coefficient 0.34 lower than the coupe and spider. 1750 GTV came in at 0.42. I don't think this model got all those details.

    Gorgeous car!

My first car was a 1974 Berlina in that same colour, only visual difference was the 74s had the rubber covered bumpers. It was a great car, although it struggled a bit in Manitoba winters at -30 or colder... ;)

That looks to be in great condition.
I have happy memories of going in one with my godfather - my first trip in a sporty Italian car when I was three or four years old :)
