    Hallo
Found this Ferarri site and thought that many must be historical interested in my former Ferarri.
I have gathered everyting of papers, pictures, videoes and life into a full story of the car in an English speaking website.

    http://www.bjorns-story.se/private/minafordon/race/Ferrarihtm/ferrari-1_eng.htm

Note All pictures in my website and in FerrariChat are my own except some from Karlskoga Paper from which I have got permission. All pics have a Ref no which show the first owner.

    Nice surfing

simply brilliant - thank you. Love the photos and your English. I love this line - "Then my two kneecaps were jumping jazz when I was lining up on the grid." - what a great description. Thank you.

It was a friend of my named Olle Lefvén. That car was later sold to England for small sum of £ s. These type of cars had no value at that time. That car had the speed record in Sweden driven by Joakim Bonnier. That happened at Revinge straight in Skåne Sweden. I know because I have walked the road when in military service. See my site "Lumpen". Björn

The driver in the Maserati formula car is Charles Lucas. He was at that time the Lotus Cars bos (owner?)

Is this built on the chassis of 0578M or 0584M?

With Ferraris there is always a long and complicated story.

From the beginning this car had 0578M.
This is my story. In Sweden Tore Bertilsson/Kvarnström had wrecked a car 0470M at Kristianstad GP They searched for a new chassie. Tore Bjurström Ferrari dealer in Sweden helped them and bought the Peter Whitehead wrecked one (0578M). The car was delivered as 0584M. He sold to Bertilsson/Kvarnström. They put in 0470M engine and gearbox. Then it was Åke Jansson till I found it parked at Valhallavägen Stockholm badly smashed. Today the car is sold to a collector in England? who has put in the original 860 engine and the car is renumberer to it original no. 0578M. The second link is good. I found the car in a New Zealand site.

    or
    http://koti.welho.com/kpietil4/svezia/0584.html

There is much more to tell between dates in a list like this last link.

So the result is that no 0584M does not anymore exist or at least in the Ferrari book registries in Modena.

    Good luck

  16. Somebody can help me? I want to know the gear relations in a Ferrari 857 S 1955. Also want to know the maximum speed in each gear AND the inertial speed at 1000 RPM in each gear, too. Thanks
