    In the United States of America it is illegal for them to void the factory warranty based on modifications.

    Also there are two types of performance chip modifications and both are undetectable by the dealer and cannot be proven.

    I think I am correct in saying that max HP on a 360 is at max revs so the modest increase (4-5hp) is probably only due to the higher (9000) red line.
    I for one would would be more interested in an increase in torque below or in the 6500 to 7000 rpm range.
