The leaked photos...that seem to be the real deal...appeared all over the internet, today. This supposedly named LP610-4, pictured in yellow, looks great in profile, but I'm having a hard time liking it from some of the other angles. I imagine it will look far better in person, as so many of these highly angular cars are never served well by photos.
The sides have a lot of Murci in them. I like it. The front and rear looks good too. Not too wild, and not too much like the Aventador.
Not bad for a re-skinned Gallardo. I like the front bumper, head lights and rear louvers. The sides are a pretty nondescript. Can't wait to see all the future bumper revisions and sticker packs! All in all not a bad effort and far from the disappointment of a new Ferrari release. Looks like It was really leaked long ago. It was just that we didn't know it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do have one major problem with Lamborghini and that is they don't have the technology to hide a freakin' parking sensor just like the ones every big fat plastic bumpered SUV has. Ooooh it's got park distance control! I can hear the kids now. Maybe Lamborghinis demographic is getting older and they like seeing them for an added sense of security. Lamborghinis should instill a little fear and not be all safe and friendly like a Volvo.
I like it too. The headligts look pretty good IMO. Overall I think the front looks better than the rear.
I quite like the design (except for the side mirrors, they seem to be plump), but the Huracan (apparently a bull that was saved in 1879 because of his outrageous strength) feels more like the little brother of the Aventador the the Gallardo was to the Murcielago for me. Especially the side view shows the resemblances, and also the interior (http://www.autoblog.nl/gallery/Lamborghini/Huracan_LP610-4/Lamborghini-Huracan-LP610-4-17.jpg) isn't that much different. Makes me wonder if the Aventador will become more of the GT car since the HP isn't that far off, but will they let this one become quicker? It has a lower weight already...
Aventador will soon receive a power bump to around 740 hp and an SV model with close to 800 hp(and lower weight).
Its Insane... I wonder if its faster than a 458/458speciale.. IMO, faster than a Italia, slower than a Speciale, might be wrong. Haha
i read on another forum that 6sp stick will be available in addition to dsg. if true, i would bet less than 10% would go for it.
I hear they are working on a turbo version - only way to meet continuing anti-smog requirements and keep power up
so is this an all-new chassis or just a rebodied version of the car that's been around since 2004? I would think given the long life cycles of this car, plus the R8, they could justify an all new chassis.
