excellent photos, thank you Tom yikes, those Ditech ones do look rough, the Abarth 205 just a curbside ....I may have to add the Abarth 205 to my full kit list after all, do it some real justice! the F. Pinto work is fantastic, very clean moldings, and the integrated metal suspension is a fantastic idea, getting rid of many warpage and frailty concerns for such small or thin parts in the process ...hmmm?
I think it's great they decided to release the long tail version of the F1, since Fujimi has the street version pending release http://d2ev13g7cze5ka.cloudfront.net/fuj/fuj12573_0.jpg?v=1367901715 ...and for rally fans, their Toyota Celica kit release too! Image Unavailable, Please Login
As pointed out by JeremyJon from the Aoshima facebook page the Mclaren F1 GTR/97 will be a full detail kit with opening doors and full chassis/engine detail. It might be expensive for a plastic kit, but worth it if done correctly. Aoshima listens to modelers. The Fujimi F1 GT roadcar kit is curbside and probably a Fujimi rush job as usual!!
I received the kit this week. This will be another interesting/challenging kitbash exercise: While the kit is complete, I think I'll skip the engine/transmission/rear suspension parts from CMM and instead replace those with parts from the Revell kit. Same goes for the wheels and possibly the front suspension. And of course all the decals, which are useless. The good news is that the engine replacement should be pretty much straight forward: They built the body like a "box", so the engine just gets "shoved" in there.
The Studio 27 Lotus 47 transkit is out in 4 versions. You need a Tamiya Europa kit to complete. At 16,000 yen + the Tamiya kit I think it is priced to high for what you get. Image Unavailable, Please Login
don't know if already posted here, but MFH (Hiro) has put up some new images, a nice looking Lusso, only question is "how much"? Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's been listed on their website for a year and since I already have the Airtrax kit I won't buy the Hiro. The roof looks a little strange but otherwise it looks good. I would think it will cost around $325.00.
Classic Museum Models BRM P153 and Ferrari 312 1967 Monaco 1/12th kits builtup. They look pretty good but are a bit crude. A good modeler will replace alot of the suspension parts with stainless steel rod. Also coming soon the 1/43rd Lotus 88 and 1/24th Porsche 908/3 1971 from Hiro. Nice looking kit, they're already showing as "sold out" I need to find a decent PPE maker to hire, for some of my coming kits Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got the BRZ kit, it's a bit weak in the vent areas. I think the guy was just trying to keep it simple so he sculpted a lot of the details. I'm going to use my Dremel and open up as much as I can.

New from Bermat, an Italian company are the Lancia LC2 and Lancia Delta S4 both in 1/24th scale. He does very good quality castings that are very accurate. The Alfa 75 turbo and Alfa GTV 6 kits are still available also. The S4 has engine detail. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pictures of the Minidelta Ferrari P3 1966 Sebring 1/12th model master sent by Patrick Badot of Minidelta. Also pictures of the model it was based on before major modifications, the Minidelta 1/12th Ferrari P3 berlinetta 1966 Monza and Spa. Only thing that tells you it's not real is the cat(maybe it's a giant cat. Another 1/12th kit from Classic Models Museum, the Lotus 25. Plan on doing alot of scratchbuilding if you buy one of their kits, although they are getting better. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That looks not to bad, if the kits are cast of the same level finish What's that Mexican company name with really bad casting, sells on eBay? ...would be a good one to warn people about, as the delivered products are much worse than the photos shown I'll try and find that info again, an AF member was posting some pics of a 935 LeMans car from them and the horror!
That's the same company. I think he went overboard rebuilding it but the kit had tons of problems, as do all the CMC kits. Be prepared to do alot of work correcting the errors. This Lotus 25 looks better.
