Derek Hill loaned the Art Car Museum family video footage for the "Fast Faster Fastest "show last year. I wish more of you had seen it. I advocated they publish the entire showing, not sure if they will. I might have to spearhead the project. I started a thread about it in Vintage Section here at the time. Welcome Jeff.
Boris, When I searched Google Books for Ferrari a history, Automobilia 1998, I found this http://books.google.com/books?id=-P6C63s4HXoC&pg=PA8&dq=Ferrari+a+history,+Automobilia+1998&hl=en&ei=uSczT86qJdCTtwfyjfWcAg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=book-thumbnail&resnum=1&ved=0CDwQ6wEwAA#v=onepage&q=Ferrari%20a%20history%2C%20Automobilia%201998&f=false I counted about 38 photos there but I am confused because it is a 240 page paperback that Amazon says was published by Motorbooks July 17, 2011 (ISBN-13: 978-0760340585). http://www.amazon.com/Ferrari-First-Gear-Larry-Edsall/dp/0760340587/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328761315&sr=8-1 There are only two reviews on Amazon. The first gives it 5 stars and is dated March 15, 2009. How can that be if the first edition was published in 2011? The second review awarded it 4 stars, gives a short list of errors, and ends with "...the publisher apparently didn't employ a proofreader experienced in Ferraris, because these errors would have been easily caught. But if you are willing to overlook these gaffes, this book is colorful and eyecatching." Larry Edsall was at AutoWeek magazine for 12 years. He served as motorsports editor and managing editor. For $13.72 I decided it was worth adding to my collection. I will have it in a few days and will be able to report more then. Jeff Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you, but this is a book in the picture. I want to buy it and I'm looking for some information. If anyone has some pictures inside. Boris Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had the Italian edition of the book, which Shell stations in Italy were giving away years ago. I found it to be a decent middle-of-the-road sort of book. If you can find a copy for around $25-30, I would say it represents decent value.
I'm the guy who wrote the 4-star review on Amazon. The book is flawed, but at its reasonable price, it is still worth having.
Regarding this by Beehl and Stern any word who to contact about ordering a copy? thanks tongascrew or [email protected]
I have send an message to him on FB, He's also a member here under the name "piloti" Maybe just send him an PM. I'm sure he will read this thread too. Best, Maarten

A series of early '50s Ferrari Yearbooks is coming up at Ebay.com. This '56 issue is particularly well reserved. A rather rare oppurtunity, I 'd say. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
