After adjusting valve clearance, getting the radiator reconditoned, cleaning and adjusting the carubretors, rebuilding and adjusting the distributor, cleaning and painting the oil tank, painting some parts of the engine compartment with wrinkle paint, changing oil, fuel, water hoses, plugs, firing cable and all lubricants, there are still some minor things to do ... but it looks nice and is running even better Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A couple shots of a Daytona at a Pre-Ferrari Challenge get-together hosted by Ferrari of Ontario in Toronto last week. A nice selection of cars greeted the arrivals: this, a 288GTO, a 333SP, an FF, 458 Spider and Nigel Mansell's F1 car. GT Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

This period picture entered by Bernie back in post #409 deserves a second look> The 365 GTB/4 is s/n 11795 which was the third Daytona prototype and some would argue the only Pininfarina built prototype. Later used by Pininfarina on their display stand at the Paris Auto Show back in 1968. Color changed to dark blue but later restored to red; this unique Daytona has been in the USA for a long time now. CH Image Unavailable, Please Login

Don't know if the pictured Daytona was blue. Different car the Yonge Steeles Motors (Willowdale) Daytona 1971 sn.14441? was originally (Dino Azzurro?) pale non-metallic blue / black interior with gray carpets and wire wheels. Rear ended about 1974 and later repaired. Many years later for sale wearing red/tan. No mention of original color or crash damage by then... CH
