    I recently met an artist named John D. Herz who showed me this drawing. He drew it from a photo with permission of the photographer (William Hauser, who recalls he might have taken it at Lime Rock). The artist titled it "Wild Stallion” and it's 21” x 30” graphite pencil on board. Not knowing much about the car, he went to Ferrari of Long Island to see if they could help identify it, but they told him there were so many one-off cars, it would be difficult to say. So what better place then here to call on the real experts. Anyone recognize this car?

    Looks to me like maybe a 625 TRC but I'm no expert...

    Looks like the ex-Sherman Wolf 1957 Ferrari 500 TRC by Scaglietti (Chassis 0662 MDTR).

    Definitely looks like a 500 TRC.

    The OP said it was sketched based on a photo taken at Lime Rock. Sherman Wolf often raced his 500TRC at LRP and lived relatively close to LRP. That is why I believe that this sketch may be based on his 500TRC.
