Looks like a cam cover nut to me. When I pulled my engine for a major service I found about 2 dozen various nuts and washers in nooks around the engine compartment. This may have been tucked away for months/years and just finally found its way to freedom.

 

Valve cover is the only other place I can think of.

 

Ah. Scale was not obvious from your photo. What is the thread size, then?

 

If it's big it's like the nut on the end of a power steering or AC pulley.

 

We need close ups please ! Looks good from the front.

You were seriously wronged here. The Outlaw 308 is as deserving as any other Italian car at center court. Guess I'm in the "dirty and unwashed" crowd. Come to think of it, I didn't take a shower this morning...

 

Brake caliper?

 

That car turned out pretty ****ing cool. I would like to see the interior when its finished.

I keep my eye out for it because I kind of frequent the same area, but I still haven't seen it blowing by on the road. Will gleefully report the spotting when it finally happens. But let's check all those brake calipers before you come rolling up behind me and continue rolling rather than stopping.

I think the idea of an F40 style dash is fantastic. Im sure no matter what, the final interior will be awesome , same as the rest of the machine. I myself am not big on modified Ferraris, but this machine is done in excellent taste . I always love to see the most recent posts on this , one of my most favorite threads. Keep up the good work Sir !I hope one day I can see this Ferrari up close and personal.I dont know how you were able to source those wheels, but they are beautiful !! Holy **** !!
