Silhouette thread

Well, when he wrote on vintage lambo list his english was quite OK...

 

I looked quickly in a German automotive magazines yesterday, and there was a nice article on V8 Lambos containing an dark blue Jalpa, red Silhouette and a red Urraco. The cars were registered Switzerland, the Red Sil. was the one without Recaro seats. Maybe it was the one that was in the small collection that was for sale not so long ago.

Meanwhile the 350GT and Espada sold, the Jalpa burned and is now being restored.

 

40016 is the car with non standard Recaro seats. Is this the one you mean?

What I'm really frustrated is that I missed to buy #40002 and #40018 when they had been pricey, both in the 40K CHF range :-(

 

Maybe advertised in lots of places, but the higher price is on your own website. Now just perhaps you've raised the price by $5k because of the neat stuff said (deservedly so) about the cars in this thread. Dunno. I was hoping the better price would have been the "special" price on your own website. Either way, someone's getting a nice car.

 

The Pasini list of all the cars was published in 1988 in one of the reviews.

Some care needs to be taken when using the ILR data as the original colours are sometimes replaced with repainted colours on the summary sheet!

that means this 95 000 Swiss francs Silhouette worths 73.000 €... good dam ! that's huge but comprehensible for such limited production Bull.

BTW, in late 2008 Max Bodnar was asking only 50.000 € for it (I've printed the adv), money depreciation... or raising value expectation...

 

Originally 40016 was for sale for 59k CHF, that was in 2002, meanwhile it got some new partial new paint and was detailled, that's all.

 

The #40016 price in my point of veiw has always been to high, from 2002 until now, but #40002, hmm i regret that i did`nt really looked closer at my possibility to buy it.

 

i doubt it will sell at 73.000 euro....nice and rare, but not perfect-all original
not worth that much imo


at Toffen it was for sale for less than 50k euro, i think starting bid was around 30-35k euro...a good deal
i knew i had to get it to at the auction....

 

What shall I say, the car was in autoscout.ch advertised for at least half a year for 45k CHF...

 

I think the price in Swedish krona (SEK) was about 260K, now the Swiss franc is very strong at least to the SEK. To day about 323K SEK.

O well, life goes on even without any Silhouette ;-)

Funny you mention this...I have been playinhg with the thought of putting the car back to as it was born...with a full re-spray and interior re-corrected.

Thanks for sharing that Kevin. Rame Colorado Metallizzato cars are rare. My client who has the only Rame Colorado Countach S S1 is planning a return to original livery.

 

Is this color the same copper as Brian's Countach?
