Thanks After seeing the Diamond Finish TdF wheels I was sold. I got the Diamond Finish wheels on my Lusso as well. They look a lot sharper in my opinion.
Why pay for a triple layer that doesn't look like triple layer ! Its a rich colour but not TL looking.
I stared and stared at it at Geneva and I couldn't see any metallic effect, much less pearl. It looks just like a solid colour. Here in Australia, the 70th paint costs more than a standard colour but about half the price of triple layer pearl.
Just going on what a guy from Ferrari said at a pre-launch viewing, it was in a dark space when I looked at it so I would like to see it in daylight. I may go for Rosso Corsa metallic
Why not black on the dash and wheel? That's a ton of red ... tiring once you live with it Black is always good and works well with the white exterior to hold it all together.
Good problems to have ... enjoy it Bianco Avus or Italia on the 812 is a very good choice IMO. Helps the macho overkill. White is a hot color for a foreseeable time here in the sun.
Atelier told me that the 70th uses Rosso Corsa as the base then adds 'some' Rosso Corsa color to the clear coat to achieve that result. It is definitely not triple layer.
l like white cars Brian but its very regional, in the UK they have image issues. "Trying a bit too hard".
I did the spec of mine but I still have to know when I will get the allocation for 2018 (most probably beginning oof the summer) My spec is with Giallo modena exterior with dark turbine wheels, full blue sterling interior with yellow stichings horses and leather accents
