I would guess that about 99.9999999% of every Cobra that anyone has ever seen on the road are "kits". You're right though, that one looks very strange.

 

The porportions of that car look off to me. Looks like it is sitting a lot higher than every other Cobra I have seen (kit or real).

 

I believe its a kit. Didn't originals have knock off wheels.

You guys are right. Now that I compare the picture to one of a "Real" 427 that I took back in March (see below), not only are the exhaust pipes different, but the vents on the side are smaller. The gas tank lid appears to be further back AND the windshield is different. The Red one above is probably built on a Corvette frame.

I was on my way home on I-66 N and right around the Vienna/123 exit I saw a Yellow F360. I ended up "cruising" with him all the way up 270 and I turned off at the Shady Grove Plaza. I was in the ///M. This was on Saturday evening between 7-8 PM.

Nice man, we had some fun. 360s aren't that fast, hehe.

 

Saw it on a car hauler along with a '68 mustang fastback in light yellow/beige color. Ferrari was not verde scuro but a medium/dark green shade. I have never seen a GT4 in that color. Truck was headed toward Va. on 495 beltway (outer loop) today round 10am as I was headed to work site.

 

Yep, that was me and the wife going to Competizione for the open house. Great fun!!!!!!!!! By the way nice M3!!

Silver 360 Modena on Old Georgetown in Bethesda. I was in my 355 and waived. You must have had your hands full...

 

Silver 550 Maranello on Delaware Ave. in Newark this afternoon, and a red testarossa up in Greeneville off of Burnt Mill Rd.

 

Grey BMW coupe on 273 towards UD driven by some guy that looked oddly familiar.
