    Did it twice in the last week in the F12 - once in the wet and once in the dry. Wow - just wow!!. You need to keep the revs up and the hairpins are definitely 1st gear corners and power out - just awesome. Car feels light and edgy and shrinks around you when one is "on it"

    Nice pic! I've done Stelvio twice - first in a 12C second in a Speciale. The Speciale run nearly killed my wife and I (see video link...) and on both occasions it was raining. Going down the fast side is much better than going up the more famous twisty side, which, frankly I don't really enjoy.

    Note from the video where I was before reversing a few feet...

    Mario, it was superb. We did a week of driving and did many passes across Switzerland, Italy and Austria but yes Stelvio was the best :)

    @Lukeylikey - The wet was not all that much fun and yes I agree with you the fast side is much more fun although I prefer going up :)

    Looked like a great trip. Doing one with my wife and a bunch of Ferrari people from Australia next May :)

    More of a hotel, cruise eat, shop trip - lucky the boot is big on the F12 as my wife likes to shop :)

    Love Stelvio, it's a road everyone should drive at least once. It's not a driving road, though. All those hairpins get to be a pain in the arse after a while.
