I knew this man many years ago from Model Aviation. He was a world-class flyer from, as I recall, Ohio. On occasion, he would show up at the field driving a Ferrari 250 GTE, his model planes in the back seat. Sadly, he died in a car race-related incident. Does anyone remember this fellow? Bob Z.
Bob. Not sure if you have already looked here but try the motorsport memorial website (Motorsport Memorial - Home). There is a Stephen James Wooley listed who was killed June 27 1971. There is not much information but if it is your guy then it could be a starting point for further research. Robert
