Take your best shot- Your best photo of your 308 or 328

I've loaned my car to the shop that painted it so they could drive it and promote they're business. Had an incident that stuck me in a wheelchair so have not been able to drive it for the last 6 months or so.(and I can't stand a car that just sits in the garage and collects dust) So anyways, I just found the car on the cover of a local fashion magazine. Going to call and see if they have any other shots I can have.

I noticed something different about the side
mirror on the poster. What kind is it?

 

Thanks, I can still drive the car, but my racing days are over. Don't quite have all my faculties to drive at 100 percent, and hate to take out someone else's car because I was stubborn and kept racing it. I can get everything on the chair strapped into the passengers seat but the wheels take up a bit to much space. So working on a removable rack to carry the wheels outside the car. (I am stubborn as to the fact I'm not going to sell it)

Anyways the mirrors are Koenig units. Not a lot of people opted for them because they are a bit small.

Nice, what wheels are those?

 

ESM 002. Its a BBS LM knockoff, so you could probably get BBS to make them with a little more lip and not have to do spacers, but they would be significantly more expensive. I like the ability to beat on 17" tires.

 

The lower lamps are fantastic! What are they?

 

Those were standard on the Euro QVs. Mine are Cibie, but not sure of the model number - 35 maybe?

 

There's really nothing that can be done to a 308 to make it more attractive. I'm okay with Speedline GTO style wheels, but not GTO replica/kits. And what Koenig did just doesn't do it for me.

 

Its a pretty stock Italian market QV, so whatever those came with stock. I just did the wheels so I can have some modern rubber on there.

 

Looks sweet mate. Very tidy.

Thanks George. Yes 328 wheels, interior is interesting Bordeaux, grey, black. GTO repro mirrors are weird but work well.
