So the Ferrari Chat logo that I see in the upper right corner of the page is also incorrect, red over green.

The flag of Italy (bandiera d'Italia) is a tricolor flag - three equal vertical bands of green (hoist side), white, and red. The design, a vertical tricolor, was inspired by the French flag brought to Italy by Napoleon. The first state to use the Italian tricolor was the Cispadane Republic in 1797, which supplanted Milan after Napoleon's victorious army reached Italy in 1796. The colors of the flag were derived from the flag of Milan (red and white) and the uniform of the civic guard of Milan (green).

This orientation would have worked but not stacked...good luck!

I noticed the issue the second I saw the pics.

FWIW it would bother me too.

Hoping someone does right by you.

I missed the pictures & now they seem to have been removed. I'm curious what they looked like, but guess maybe the problem was rectified (and OP took the pics down??)

Whatever was wrong, my guess is someone gets their hands on them, and they sit on a shelf for 40-50 years, only to be sold for tons of money as a factory error one of one rare item :) (like baseball cards, stamps or coins/currency)

Just out of curiosity, which color should be adjacent to the flagpole for an Italian flag?

I guess an establishment that has regular visits from both Italians and Hungarians just need to get a flag with mountings on both sides and simply mount the flag appropriately depending on who is there at the time.

Good to hear. Johann and his shop are stellar, so glad you're in good hands

now, the question is, are you actually going to use this luggage?

we have somehow over time acquired a bit of Schedoni luggage, but we ABUSE our bags and have not had the heart to actually use it!

shame on us I guess, I'm used to dragging nylon and cordura through an airport

we ALMOST ordered it with our car, but then I had a moment of sanity

OK but maybe that makes it even more valuable to some Ferrari collector down the road - like a rare stamp or a coin that is mis-printed or double-stamped?

Trying to look at the bright side.

ok so all these months later and FNA giving me the middle finger. They say the stripes are correct when placed in the car- but then the writing is upside down.

(johann said he cant do anything)

Gonna have a lawyer get involved - thanks FNA!

Get the lawyer involved and say goodbye to future "special model" allocations. Not worth the fight in my opinion.

At least they got the paint color correct on your tdF. Not like 'e' who got the wrong paint color on his ordered Ferrari...
FNA should have taken back the old set and supplied a new correct set of luggage without argument when it was not what you agreed to purchase. It's not like the company is operating at a financial loss these days...

Still burning bridges doesn't help in the long run. Hard won history is to be embraced rather than cast aside over a relatively minor issue. Use the issue to your advantage. You have to remember there are many who would dearly love to be in your shoes!!!
