I remember seeing that RR driving around Jordan Boulevard around 15 years ago. Good to see it still around in good condition.
Hi Salar, Good to hear from you. You are right. The current owner is a pretty well known collector and looks after it quite well. Though it is pampered, I like the fact that it is actually driven and enjoyed, what the Tehran Café Racers are all about. Warmest Wishes Ramin
Hi, As you can see, we are quite an eclectic group, as evidenced by the MG, the RR and a Pontiac Formula, Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi, Later on in the afternoon, the owner of this Unimog and his family joined us. He has three more, all of which have been restored to excellent condition. He has no qualms driving them anywhere, including in programs like ours. Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, Another group photo. Two days of great fun, great friends, great roads and fun cars. I hope you enjoyed the ride. Warmest Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love your posts Ramin, keep 'em coming. That unimog is so badass, and the rest of the cars are nice too! EDIT: I also love the old pictures of the exotics cars in the last few pages as well!
Thanks for the kind words 'M' Just got back today from the English Car Club Tour and lunch today. We did the same for the Italian Car Club a little while back and also did a Mustang 50th on April 17. Give me some time to sort through them. The owner of the Unimog is as passionate as they get. He has the first private sector search and rescue unit in Iran, which he volunteers his services with his 3 Unimogs. He did wonders during the Azerbaijan earthquake of last year. It is really refreshing to be associated with someone who not only enjoys his vehicles, but does a world of good with them. I enjoy the old pics as much as you do. I hope that Ali Reza and Nima (and anyone else for that matter) keep them coming. Iran has a unbelievable automotive history and culture. It is a pleasure to hear back from someone who enjoys seeing our events as much as we enjoy carrying them out. Best Wishes, Ramin
Hi, Here are some pics from the English car club tour from Niavaran (northern Tehran) to Lavasan, a small city outside of Tehran which is now home to many o Tehran's wealthiest residents. The plan was to meet at 9.30 at our regular meeting spot, the parking lot of the Darabad Zoo, take a nice drive through the mountains and city and have lunch at the Nana'a (Mint) Restaurant which is quite well known for its cuisine and atmosphere. All pictures are courtesy of automotive journalist Mustapha Enisee who was kind enough to let me post his photo's. Fortunately, the ghost of Sir Lucas (a.k.a the Prince of Darkness) appeared only once sending a V12 Jag limping home. The first picture is of the first arrivals around 8.30 am. Enjoy , Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, A very early series Hillman Hunter ( Iran National Peykan). These cars were assembled under license until the 1979 revolution, after which Hillman went under and the production line was bought and transferred to Iran. The car was manufactured in various forms and upgrades until early 2000. The early versions are now favorites among collectors as there is hardly one Iranian who has not had a Peykan in their family at some point. Best Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, As more and more cars arrive, we begin to line them up. Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, The Range Rover brigade arrives in full force. The immaculate condition and devotion to the marque of these guys ( a club within a club) never fails to impress. Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login

Great stuff as usual Ramin. Is that in front of the Sa'd Abad museum? I love the red TR3 and it's refreshing to see those RR's dressed in rare colors!
