Hope you like it. Please let me know how it goes: I am not impressed with them. Weeks ago I ordered a book after they confirmed they had it only to receive a cancellation email an hour later due to it being out of stock.

    best regards,

    Marc

I've always had good luck with Amazon. I've signed up to be notified when they have your book available.

I gave the book a mention on the book thread at www.autosport.com

Thanks Jack. Enjoy the coming month: best time to be in Fort Lauderdale before the summer humidity kicks in.

Look forward to the book. I like shopping online, but don't like using my CC on small sites(like bookstores) so Amazon is excellent.

    Marcel,
Do any of the photos show the rear fenders of 2819 cut and bent out to accommodate wider tires?

Count Volpi remembers the 250 SWB I drove on the roads around Aviano Air Base was 2819. But he's not positive.

I do remember the car was silver. Never forget those cut up fenders. Third highest memory after the engine revving sound and the clutch-less shift GV insisted on to demonstrate the great transmission. Vivid memory 40 years later.

Hello all: just to answer the fairly numerous emails and PM's sent to me with the question, I have just received word from publisher Tim Parker that after a slight delay the Breadvan books are now at the distributors!

    best regards,

    Marc

As I mentioned in the book collectors' thread, I ordered mine from Amazon Canada, as Amazon USA is not accepting advance orders and only lists Rebel Rebel as being available from"Marketplace" vendors. I have no idea why the book is not offered by Amazon USA.

Hello again Jack: sometimes searching by author's name makes it easier, I just did and it did come up on amazon.com in fact there is no reason why it shouldn't.

At the risk of belaboring the point, www.amazon.com lists the book, but only offers it for sale (as of this moment) from third party sellers, not directly from Amazon.com. The book *is* available directly from Amazon.ca.

Ah I see Jack the subtleties of book distribution: it is only my first book so I am a rookie:)

Have learnt so much doing this one getting the other two from raw text and photo archives to printed book will be quite a bit easier.

    best regards,

    Marc

The other two? I assume one will be on the Khamsin? One is up for sale in Greenwich in a few weeks, I can photograph it in and out if you want.

    Hello Richard:

You have a very good cristal ball:) Actually it is Maserati the Citroen years 1968-1975, Khamsin, Bora, Merak, still born Quattroporte II, SM, (am driving the one off SM V8 in 2 days) and Ligier Maserati.

AM120US1298 superbly restored by Gary Bobileff is the car you mention, one of the best Khamsins in north America though it was yellow when I almost bought it as a dismantled project in 1998 at Steve Claasen's in Fort Lauderdale but for once used my brain. Definitely would appreciate photos, interior details in particular, thanks.

The third book...I finished 25 months ago , a massive job, 4 to 5 times the Breadvan book in terms of time and result but my co author is just not getting his part done, no matter how many times I ask him, no matter how important it is to me, he icily coldly does not care, just keeps delaying it and is also according to quite a few key observers the world champion of immature arrogance. I need a publishing attorney or an Uzi...

    best regards,

    Marc
