m sorry to say that were canceled for this Saturday May 7 due to the high likelihood of inclement weather. It happens... We have some big upcoming events so better to get the rain now than during those three weeks in a row of cool stuff. _____________________ Saturday May 14, right after E@RTC we head down to Boeing Field to be a part of a charity event at the Boeing Museum of Flight to benefit two animal charities. Nothing like the combination of cars and planes! BTW, the food in the Museum of Flight cafe is very good! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=156867087704956 _____________________ Saturday May 21, is the annual Remlinger Farms Photo Shoot right after E@RTC. This event also has a very generously supported raffle to benefit the cure for Cystic Fibrosis. We have some very nice prizes this year! This is always one of our biggest weekends so mark it down and dont miss it. The food is also good and the photos are always memorable! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=189461011079401 ______________________ Saturday May 28, we have our official summer opener! Will be parking our cars in the Redmond Town Center center square for some fun. As cars come into the main lot we will line them up and park them along the center section of Redmond Town Center. This is to further support Redmond Town Center and all the stores for all their generous support over the last three seasons. Our plan is to do this three times this season. We will probably meet up somewhere after E@RTC so stay tuned! We tentatively have the Lexus LF-A making its debut in the Northwest that same day! Were still working on logistics so its not yet 100%. Sunday May 29, the weekend fun continues- Weve been invited out to Ste. Michelle Winery for the weekend Stay-cation along with the Ste. Michelle Wine Club. Because of limited display space, we have to prioritize cars in favor of some of the more exotic cars we have come out, however EVERYONE is welcome and there will be plenty of general parking. Were working to get some cars to come out that are otherwise rarely seen. This event will be well attended and best of all its free! http://www.ste-michelle.com/events/wineryCalendarDetail/401 July 2 will be Ferrari Day! Stay tuned!
We're on hold until we can check the weather tomorrow. The reports are so conflicting that we just can't call it yet. Either way, we are ON for the Museum of Flight, because if it does rain we still can go inside. We're there at noon either way. I will post more as soon as we sort out what we're doing and then we can decide where to meet up to caravan to Boeing Field. More later so stay tuned!
Hi Everyone! It looks like the weather will cooperate and we are ON for Exotics at Redmond Town Center! Yea! Its going to be a full day of car stuff so kick the honey-do list until Sunday and fill out your application for your yard pass with the significant other for a few more hours than usual as we head down to the Boeing Museum of Flight right after E@RTC to support Alex Berglers student project event to benefit local animal shelters. We will leave E@RTC at 11:00 and meet up at Boeing Field at noon. A few of us will have to leave a little earlier to help out and well see you down there! The details for the event can be found on Facebook below: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=156867087704956 See you all tomorrow!!!
I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything that would embarras Roy!! One of the things you have to admire about him!!
Hi Everyone! It's still too soon to call it on the weather, but as of this morning, WeatherUnderground reports that it's going to be our first 75 degree day and sun! We will call it Wednesday or Thursday, but right now it's looking very good for Saturday! The reason for the early post is this E@RTC/Remlinger event has been one of our biggest gatherings over the last two seasons and one of the most fun activities we do all year! Many of us have friends in from out of town just for this event! It's that fun! The lots will be filled with cool cars and we will do everything we can to get the cars organized and landed as fast as the P-Thugs can manage. We will probably get well over our record 140-150 cars. We're working to add a 4th lot standing by just in case. For those new to all this, we start with our usual E@RTC at 9:00 AM before we caravan over to Remlinger Farms for a series of photo shoots up in the fresh cut grass. The cafeteria style restaurant does an excellent job of getting us all in and the food is very good. This is always a GREAT time! This is a chance to snag some memorable pictures of your favorite rides so bring your cameras! This event also draws out our most gifted photographers. It's that cool! This year's charity raffle is to benefit the cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Kimberly has been rounding up some very cool stuff for the raffle so this will be well worth the bucks to buy some tickets. (James, Jason and the others- can you put up some pics from last year?) Here are the Facebook details: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=189461011079401 Don't forget, the following week is the Ste. Michelle event!!!
For those of you who don't know where Remlinger is, here is a map of our route. http://goo.gl/maps/nUxF
The request to sit in cars has gotten way out of hand. We need everyone's help in curtailing this at E@RTC events. I don't think people understand that it's not one person sitting in cars, it's dozens over a short time causing excessive wear relative to miles driven. To quote Honey Badger "It's not a Jungle Gym!" While this seems so obvious and it's traditionally not been a problem, because we're getting more and more spectators, it's starting to become a problem. So, if you have the urge to ask someone to sit in a car, follow this simple rule. Don't.
Saturday, May 28, we have our official E@RTC summer opener! We will be parking our cars in the Redmond Town Center center square for the first time since 2009. This is a GREAT place for photos! As cars come into the main lot we will sort them by type then send you around to park them along the center section of Redmond Town Center. This special location is to further support Redmond Town Center and all the stores for all their generous support over the last three seasons. Our plan is to do this three times this season. They are terrific to us, so lets do our best to show our appreciation! (Please no revving.) We will meet up for lunch somewhere after E@RTC and we will announce that at RTC. The Lexus LF-A will be making its debut in the Northwest at RTC that same day! This is the first time the LFA will be seen in the Northwest!!! Sunday May 29, the weekend fun continues- Weve been invited out to Ste. Michelle Winery for the weekend Stay-cation along with the Ste. Michelle Wine Club. Because of the type of show, we have to prioritize cars in favor of some of the more exotic and classic cars that will be arriving, however EVERYONE is welcome and there will be plenty of general parking, so come out either way and we'll do our best to make it work for everyone. The official event post on the Ste. Michelle site is: http://www.ste-michelle.com/events/w...ndarDetail/401 June 25 will be Porsche Day! July 2 will be Ferrari Day! Stay tuned!
That link for the winery event doesn't seem to be working. Here is what I found on their site. http://www.ste-michelle.com/events/wineryCalendarDetail/401 The event starts at 12 noon. What time should we bring our cars for display?
As an owner of a Lexus IS-F, I cannot wait to see the LF-A. This will truly be a treat. Thanks for organizing this one.
We'd love to get more IS-Fs out. As for when to show up on Sunday, for display cars, best to get there between 9:30-10.
Where is the Center Square in relation to the Desert Fire site? The map link on the E@RTC puts it out by Avondale Road. I'm thinking about bringing the Shark down on a shakedown cruise.
It's the very center of Redmond Town Center. It's NE 74th Street on the map at RTC. Between 164th Ave and 166th. We will stage cars from the usual parking next to Desert Fire so go there first.
