That rear-quarter view looks terrible, I hope there's still room for a beautiful shape under all that camo. Side view is somewhat better but I don't like the very long, very wide, low rear that can be guessed.
Very interesting. Not sure how much of that design to take away as being similar to the final product.
Wheelbase and cockpit. The rest is covered. You can speculate a bit on the placement of scoops and vents.
I don't like the paint job. I mean, the shades of black don't even match. C'mon Ferrari. You can do better than that.
Interesting speculation but I'd guess that the apparent increase in wheel base argues against a V8. Unless it is there to accommodate some new KERS tech.
Looks very "Le Mans Protoype" class This car is very low, and very long. Did i see exhausts on both sides of the rear window?
Here are a couple of extra closeups that my friend kindly sent me! Enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
With the nose shaped like that, there is no doubt there is some form of active aero undernose. I'm guessing an adjustable airfoil or diffuser under there
^ those aren't the actual doors of final design IMO ...almost every panel you see on the mule is a false covering ....what little does show through (the front fender top edge, rear screen) indicate a much more leman prototype body style, and much less bulky then the enzo/fxx ...it'll be exciting to see the final result
Ferrari leaked these photos or told someone where the car was going to be. I'm estatic about the way the back looks. Looks much like Jim's beautiful car. Now all we need is gull wing doors & a beautiful F1 style front. Ferrari is really throwing it down. I was in Miami this past weekend. The FF is NOT a bad looking car at all. I saw 3 or 4 red 458s and 2 GORGEOUS white 458s. Pictures really don't do modern Ferrari's proper justice. Can't wait to see what this space ship is going to look like.
Well, compared to, say, the building in the background...or the dude driving the car, yes, it is HUGE.
I was the first to publish pics of the FF before the disguise came off. I learned what to do by taking some of the first pics of the 599, Californina (when it was disguised as a Maserati) and 360 stradale prototypes and not knowing what to do to get photo's out there. I learned how to make sure people knew what was driving around. I tried, myself, to publish them, but it isn't as easy as one would think. Now that I have made contacts, it is easier to publish, but if it was Ferrari wanting pics out there, it wouldn't be in this format. Ferrari can cleary accomplish what they want when they want. If you have been to Maranello enough, you know where to look. I am certain that for pics like this to surface, it wasn't some inside info that lead to them.
