What lines on that car, subtle and Lovely. The headlights look like eyeballs, and the grill work gives it kind of an odd facial expression. Something you just stare at.

I agree with Lambo's decision not to remake this car. Would you repaint the Mona Lisa? Would you remake the statue of David? I liked that they made a prototype to celebrate where they have been, but you don't move forward by living in the past. As Wilkerman said, "When you go retro, you've run out of ideas." It's a nice reflection piece, but remaking degrade from what the origional Muria is.

As for the supercar market in general, it is indeed changing. The "true driver's car" is a fading idea as technology has made it easy for any one to look like an expert. case and point, the Nissan GTR (R-35). It's awesome and it's goes very fast, but seriously, anyone can drive. Now take for example a Porsche Carrera GT. It takes true driving mastery to handle that car, and only an expert can get the most out of it. Not that's there's anything wrong with cars that are faster, safer and easier to drive. But the days of more driver integration with the car are fast fading, as automatic transmissions and paddle shifters are drowning out old school manual transmissions. It's just a progression of the times. All is ask is give people the option manual or a racing transmission, but at the rate cars are going, manual transmission may become special-order only.

    Just my 2 cents.

I saw this a couple months ago. Some of the background on the word appear to imply a more SUV type, but the second photo doesn't appear to be so.

I kinda hope they dont all turn into mini reventons, it looks a tad too futuristic for my tastes. Dont get me wrong, its very cool, but I kind of liked the gallardo more the first time than the lp560-4. And a lambo sedan would make me a sad sad young man.... :(

Lamborghini isn't known for repeating themselfs. They don't make generation cars, every car is a different story and I like that kind of philosophy. If this happens to be 4 door/seat GT I doub't it will have any similarities with Espada, except the fact that it has 4 seats and front engine. And as it comes to Porsche-Lamborghini relations, I doub't the new Lambo could do any harm to Porsche, because as Walter said, it is in much higher price range, further more Lamborghini and Porsche have totaly different kind of customers and values they communicate

    It is.

The Miura concept is what the Reventon should have been. Produce 20 Miura's and sell them at $1.8mill+. That would have made a lot more sense.

Talk to him cause he needs glasses :D.

Lamborghini has become a business after the Diablo was put to rest. Now its all about making money and profits and not building the best damn car on the roads like they did back then.

The Muria, Countach and Diablo where all great cars for there days nothing could match those things for their days. Now the Murcielago and Gallardo are kind of tamed and is more about looking fly than hauling ass and looking great while doing so. I guess their days of being the most extreme and ractical designs are done.

Ah yes, the Pantera business model; Lamborghini goes go back to building cars that would not meet today's environmental or safety guidelines but they somehow can sell them anyway, they operate at a loss so that production can be cut back to small numbers while not raising prices three to four times, hell, might as well take the build consistency back to questionable as well just so the owners can have a car with 'character'.

And please elaborate on your definition of "hauling ass" because I guarantee you my Gallardo is more capable at most tracks than older Lamborghini's. Or maybe you're talking about replicars again.

OMG, Pantera man, just stick with reading posts and learning something. You don't have to write things and prove anything here. Things you are saying don't have a tiny bit of common sense in todays circumstances. Even the hardcore vintage Lambo fans wouldn't expect Lambo to start building cars just for the love of fans. It would be great, but will never happen.

btw. Try to pronounce the names corectly and avoid strong words ( directed to Steven Winkelmann, lol :D ) , becuase you are not proving any knowledge, inteligence nor respect by using them.

    Very best Regards,

    Mirza

A times ago, rumor about one Gallardo V8, I'm think if this new model its one concept for the ring with F California.
Or its a small front engine car V10 or the 2+2 V12 front engine.
Suv with that rim not possible.
    Poll:
Small front engine car V10, its possible, have small brakes - 65%
The 2+2 V12 front engine, called New Espada or Lagartijo or Urus - 45%
