Just stirring the pot. 😏 He did get handedly beat by Bottles at the Russian GP. "Valtteri is faster than you" 😂
Nah, i'm not a soft a** millennial that gets easily triggered. Looks like you're sorry already though.
Great driver. Too weak mentally. When he wins he pretends to be an American rapper when he loses he shrinks into a British man child.
Totally agree..... he's a fast driver, no more, and his tactical abilities are severely lacking, mental stamina almost non existent Give the guy the quickest car and he can win, make him race without the ability to nobble the opposition (ala Nico being the only other car capable of winning and toto and the rat with their favouritism) and he is all at sea. Bottles isn't a GOAT, but he's already proved elton isn't the second coming of ayrton
+1 +1 Button said it very well ''He's a very quick driver. Once he finally sorts it all out in his head he'll be among the best''. IMO it all started going downhill for him when he sacked his dad. With his dad he was fairly grounded and he was able to keep his head there when he needed it. After that the mistakes happened and he let personal problems interfere with his work. IMO 2007 is a great example of how quick he can actually be when he's got his head there.
Hamilton screwed the pooch at Sochi. After demanding team orders this early in the season he was completely lost all weekend while Bottas became a Merc hero while saying "screw your team orders. I'm here to win."
In a "What Have You Done For Me Lately" world, your observation works. But in a world where "Elton" has proven over and over again in history that he is a Champion and a super-fast qualifier, I'll take him.
I'm sure ALL championship winning individuals think they're great. Why not? They're proven champions.
Although you might have the fastest driver combo out there I think you need to be prepared for some serious drama between those two... As said: Hamilton is one of the fastest without doubt but I do not think he really is a complete driver or a solid character one could rely on. As a team I would prefer to win against him above winning with him as the later one does not leave a lot attention to the team, only on him. And the situation where a driver really makes the difference are very rare as one could see in the last 7 yeasr when when it basically was the RB and the Mercedes winning the WDC rather than the drivers... Just look at last year (and in smaller dimensions the last race): Rosberg and Bottas got the job done as well, it was not Hamilton making the difference between winning and loosing.
LOL!!! What do you think F1 -- or ANY sport is --than "What have you done for me lately"? Hamilton LOST to his number 2 last year Has already asked for and received official "team orders" be issued for the rest of this year Can't figure out why he was so slow at Sochi. History is a bee-atch. Past championships mean nothing. It's all about winning today baby.
