The update is well done. Like the bold nose and the sculpted front wheel arch - good complement to the rear duct. Horn shaped exhaust tips and the inner mesh are also very nice details. New rims are growing on me but are a little too busy.

Automobile states car will be available this spring. Is this accurate?

I don't like it. I don't know why, but alot of things on that car just don't look right, I like the look of the old one better, which is funny because I think the LP640 is better looking than the original Murcielago.

I am a Tifiosi at heart. The new Baby G is pretty awesome looking. I hope the folks in Maranello come up with an answer to this...with better ergonomics and overall vehicle comparison. (Or is this Lambo's answer to the 430 Scuderia?)

My guess is - this would be their answer to the Scuderia. If not, then Ferrari's answer will be the 430 replacement, as the Scuderia represents the last evolution of the 430 (as far as I know).

I've been told end of the year for Australian delivery.

No word on pricing but, as always, choose your options with care as they can add hugely to the price.

I hope the Dino would come out already!...Don't know bout you guys, but I'm tired of the freakin' rumors lol!...I have seen the spy shots...but all looks too much like a mini-612...I wanna see the Dino vs. the new Baby G on Top gear...now THAT is something worth seeing!

Things I would put in the new Dino (If I had the decison...this is of course, all dreams lol)

-F1 Paddle shifter/Manettino/ ANNNND a built in 6 speed stick
-More aggressive aero parts that make the car more aggressive
-DVD Navigation and Engine Management controls (such as on the Nissan GTR)
-The much read about of the RWD to 4WD transmission gear
-Race-inspired ultra luxury interior (as on the new baby g)
-Movable wing on the rear (air brake)
    -Standard Carbon Ceramic Brakes
    -OLED dash

haha...this is all too much to put on an "entry level" Ferrari...but hell, I'd like to see this! lol

I wouldn't see the F149 ("Dino") competing with the Gallardo. They will be in different categories. One is front engine coupe and the other mid engine junior supercar.

I like it a lot. The back end of the original G always left me a bit cold. The new rear end looks great. That black strip across almost reminds me of a maserati Khamsin.

Mat, Thursday is the first public day. The 2 or 3 days before are press only.

The rear end of the car is -IMO- much better that of the 1st. version!

Hey Sal, I think you are mixing up a Lambo lover with that of a dreamer; albeit very common for people to both love AND dream Lamborghini. How can one not? :)

Yeah but Lamborghini is a more upscale brand. Its like Rolls Royce incorporating BMW design hughes.

    disclaimer:
I am not talking about sharing engineering aspects, that is an arguement of its own. I dont see anything wrong with that.
