Interesting,Is the engine in place? or this a full dress rehersal less running gear etc. I imagine the bonnet has to come off for engine placement,I know it did for my 330. Thanx again for the great thread. Simon.
That's very kind, but i think Jim's restoration of P3/4 0854 "Back to Original Coupe" is a bit more special and historically very important. But none-the-less, thank you for the very kind thought.
Hi Simon, engine is still on the bench waiting to be rebuilt, that will start very soon and I will cover every aspect, including being run-in in Joe's new Dyno room. Yes the bonnet will have to be carefully removed to put the unit back in. Cheers Mark
Thanks Oscar, I am very fortunate that the first owner, the Swiss racing driver Willy-Peter Daetwyler had excellent taste! I keep imagining what a sensation picking this car up from the factory in 1965 must have been. Cheers Mark
Willy-Peter Daetwyler - no wonder he is laughing! He has just won another European Hill Climb Championship, he has a beautiful woman on his arm and a fantastic silver ferrari to whisk her back to his penthouse in Monaco! Those were the days, what a life! NB: i know the dates don't tie-up but you get the picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lupi in Italy supplied all the interior - back to as close to original spec as possible. These pictures are of my actual car, when it was with the 2nd owner - Bill Locke back in 1981 - 1983. When Bill owned the car it was still in its original Argento Silver with the red and black interior - before it went retail red - what were people thinking? Image Unavailable, Please Login
does anyone know how i can get that pdf file to show as a picture on the thread, rather than a link? feel free to work your computer magic if you can! thanks
Thanks for sharing this beuty...may be you may show us the engine restauration too? Bautyfull work! Alessandro
Hi Alessandro, yes i will do a detailed coverage of the engine rebuild. There are some pictures earlier in the thread of the engine strip down and new block. Cheers Mark

Hi Mark, Nice! Is the light in the boot standard? Mine is in that case probably lost one day...not that I miss it as you need a flashlight anyway to find anything in the endless deep boot. Position of the light is also not the most logic one. Ciao Oscar
