So it was cats but for another reason makes enough sense except why just one cylinder? the others in the bank weren't in that bad a shape. As far as my interest goes I figured a blown motor would be easier to tinker with. I am starting my long road down the diy projects, and I am 98% leaning towards the 348 as my first Ferrari in around 5 years. Here this thread will help clear things out I believe. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=260155 I also want it to rival Sy's and Andy's over the pond in the UK in around 3 years after I get it maybe in less years if possible. Since you hadn't decided on your blown motor, I was wondering if you were willing to sell. Again me being a broke college student as of now I am quite incapable of purchasing a healthy 348 longblock, but if I can scoop together a blown one that could potentially end up as a tablestand, I mean why not right? The more I learn the happier I am. Let me know what happens with it. Thanks. Regards, Krish
Well I had put the 328 away for the winter but a friend has convinced me to take it out Saturday afternoon to take his grandson for a drive. We are meeting at the A&W North @ 2:00 PM. He also has a new 2010 Camero he is going to show off at the same time. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome. DAC
With a little luck , I will be there on Saturday. If the weather holds for Sunday would anyone be up for a bit of a drive?
I saw Morgan out yesterday with the Diablo. I talked to him and he was happy to have it back. Wont be able to go for a run anymore. I put the V away. Who would have thought we'd still be running a week in to Nov.
Tanya and I are going for one more run Going to take the Diablo to Calgary and pick up the TTG But it all hinges on the weather, if car is ready in time and my staffing If not, o well try again later
Or I could volunteer to do it for you if you REALLY can't get away. I don't have staffing issues to worry about. It would make a great story for my web site too. BTW, my brother-in-law was kind enough to buy me a bottle of 2004 Lamborghini Trescone the other day. She found it in Saskatoon somewhere. It was pretty good, too. I'll deffinitely have to add a couple of bottles to "the wine cellar" in the future.
The repairs from what you did to it or for anything if I break it? I'd go for the last option. Not sure about the first, though, as I have no idea what your bill is for. I know if I was driving it back I'd be crawling along gently at regular old highway speeds. I've lost my license way too many times in my younger days to go down that road again.
That was almost 20 years ago now and I've learned my lessons well. Not even a ticket or minor accident in that time.
Looks like Saturday weather is going to cooperate. Anyone in for coffee and/or drive in the afternoon?
Your all more than welcome to drive by the house, I'll be in the garage working on dis-assembly of one of the race cars http://blurredvisionracing.com/pictures/img_0010.html is going under the knife after a slight "incident" I'll be at work till noonish then home. My 13 yrd boy would probably piss himself if you showed, all his friends talk about Lambo's where he has a soft spot for a "proper" breed work 352-4177 home 771-4225 Gord
Going to be picking up the TTG Friday so i guess i wont be lamboless over the winter after all For yous who don't know the Diablo sits in the ZR Auto Museum (show room) Lotz of interest so sooner or later it will sell

Wow, I am sure that made a nice Christmas present for some one! If I could get mine into the living room I would consider decorating it.
