I should be able to make it our there in my TR. What else should I bring?
Hi Guys, I have Johnny308, FastRadio and Saltie added to the"will attend list". Please let me know if you need any additional information. - Ed -
Update We are currently at approximately 25 cars and 50 persons confirmed. Any stragglers, or fence sitters, please sign up as soon as possible. Photo from this weekend. The only thing missing is your vehicle. Hoping that the weather will cooperate on the 14th! - Ed - Image Unavailable, Please Login
Long range forecast looks perfect, 70F. But we all know the forecast is pretty much worthless beyond 2 days...anyway fingers crossed!
2 Days!? I don't think the weather folks can give an accurate forecast 2 hours into the future. But here's hoping the weather turns out to be a beautiful autumn day!
I can't figure out what I am more excited about... the drive up, spending a day with friends, or golf cart polo. Tori and I are looking forward to it and weather forecast looks to be cooperating.
Yes, there is a group of us that will meet in Glastonbury around 9AM and head north to Ed's and Sandy's around 9:30AM.
The GBury group is: Brendon Joe M Tom Craig Lane Mike Du Peter Eric Richard Anyone else please speak up so we don't leave without you.
All, We are a "go" for Sunday. The local forecast is calling for a "chance" of showers early Sunday morning, followed by clearing skies and high temp in the mid to upper 6o's. It is always cooler up here in the Worcester foothills so please do bring a jacket or sweatshirt. I'm pleased to advise that thanks to the Gale family we do have the use of the golf carts for polo. If you have a special mallet that really works well for your style of play then feel free to bring it with you. You do know who I'm talking about - right? Hoping that your drive in will be memorable. - Ed - PS I forgot to say ......in hushed voice "Gumball"
Ed, Found a driver for the 308. So it'll be TR, Maserati, 308, 5 adults, 2 kids and 8 lbs. of shrimp. Looking forward to it. Phil V.
Phil, Glad to hear that you were able to find a volunteer to drive your 308. The line of candidates must have stretched around the block. What is the vetting process for a fill in Fcar driver? That must be interesting. - Ed -
Kevin, I've added you to the list of attendees. Hope that you enjoy your "rookie" year experience. - Ed -
Hmmm, it doesn't look like anyone else will be meeting the caravan in Stafford Springs. Should I make the extra trip down the GBury to ride up with everyone else? Or be all lonely in SS? If you leave GBury at 9:30, what time does that put you through Stafford Springs center? It may all boil down to what time I can get my arse out of bed. I'll be volunteering at Street Survival all day Saturday at Rock Cats Stadium.
Ed, The vetting process includes signing over your house, first born, and a few other minor requirements. It turns out he is a local police officer and a friend of Brett, so it might work.
