You have a nice racing one that make it rev like a motorbike...awesome thing. makes a bit of a rattle though.
Might be an idea - they used to be (a long time ago) AP agents. They sorted out a Lancia clutch issue I had many moons ago very simply - it seems that the hot Fulvia competition clutch set up is a bog standard (good quality) F&S clutch from a Fiat 125! Worked for years... They offered to do a clutch kit for the 456 for a great price as they had done them for TR/512. I went in another direction, but I'm sure it would have been fine. The "other direction" was fine too.
Makes it bloody difficult to drive more like it I believe your car was christened the rattly OHOS when it had that stupid clutch in as well.
Sadly another dead end. The clutch cover I need is rated at 630Nm, not much call for that in a 7.25" size in Australia. Nor do any of the AP dealers here hold stock of sintered clutches. VDS are trying to source just the spring for me in the US, so that I can swap it into the existing cover. It was their mistake as it transpires.
At least you are getting assistance, even though I bet the process is super frustrating Any chance you will buy two so its not an issue next time?

Argh! I need to swap everything except the steel plates. AP have it all in stock but need 10 days to assemble (?). They must run their warehouse by carrier pigeon... Going to be a close thing for me to be ready for the Tasman meeting...
Rolling Stones in Hunter Valley this weekend Racing weekend of 29th. Needed it running this week in case something was wrong and I had to pull it down again over the 22nd weekend.
Awesome! I dithered and missed out on tickets earlier this year for the Macau concert - girlfriend went and said it was fantastic! Saw them in Bris about 10 years ago but most memorably HEARD them when they played the old Milton tennis courts open stadium in Bris when I was a kid; we lived on the ridge above and the sound nearly blew me out of bed!
on a different subject, I finally got my headlight washer cover from FMS this week. K&H heatproof silver is a great colour match, followed by 2 coats of clear. 20 seconds to fit - it's such a flimsy attachment. Note to self: never operate windscreen washers whilst headlights are on!
