Hi chaps what tyres are people fitting to the Uracco? do we have pressure recomendations? do we know what was the original equipment?
Original equipment for the P250 Urraco was Michelin XWX 205/70 14 front and rear. The P300 had 195/70 14 at the front but these are no longer made. I don't know the pressures offhand but they are in the handbook!

Unfortunately the XWX are as expensive as they are made of Gold. 1200 Euro for a set of four... I paid for 21"s Dunlop for my R-Class Benz less. Martin
But how much did you pay for the Dunlop Sport Classic? (Michelin are a premium brand and comparisons with tyres for modern car tyres aren't relevant.)
950 Euros including fitting, not cheap also as it is Dunlop Classic. When you add CLASSIC to somethink it become gold.
I find it hard to understand why you would spend 950€ on a non classic tyre. if you are going to spend that kind of money, why not go the whole hog. the Dunlop is not a classic tyre. just writing classic on the side wall doesn't make it a classic tyre. the Dunlop tread pattern doesn't look like a classic tyre because it isn't. the side wall looks wrong enough without having the word classic written on side of it. there is nothing that tells you that something isn't classic more than writing classic on the side of it. I asked to Michelin but they don't made the 195 for the front so I found an other solution....If one day they made them again I will buy...
Do they handle better with a smaller front tyre? I thought people tended to fit 205/70VR14 front and rear these days?
As the speed information is taken at the front if you put the wrong size you will have a bad speed indication and also bad handling.
