I've pretty much completed my collection! Now I just need the real thing. Chris Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL the silver ones are too pricey for me! Who has that collection (1:43 I think) of all the different vectors? I'd sure like to see more of it... I sure wish I'd have gotten a red Ricko when they were released!
I'm not much of a fan of the post Weigart Vectors, but I believe the SRV8 had a Corvette engine... LT5 maybe. I'm sure some of the others can chime in.
Silver hot wheels on eBay with vector letter & business card right now at $400... I just got a black & red one...never seen that before...
How about the DARDA W8´s? There was a red, a white and different blue models: body body body VECTOR 1/43 collection: http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/2013/b1599866f6.jpg http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/901/2bc7de5821.jpg And how about Spark custom versions? http://dk1.ti1ca.com/get/86.203.68.170/0zlx94jb/95c2ea9af9.jpg http://img108.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=10105_763a121490_122_485lo.jpg http://img192.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=10108_c0622c1d0f_122_529lo.jpg http://img184.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-4401/loc619/65503_VectorW8spider1_122_619lo.jpg http://img297.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=34218_e2bb3e3277_122_242lo.jpg http://img196.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-7054/loc419/70107_d4ee4a04e2_122_419lo.jpg http://img44.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=61382_Vectorspiderbleu_122_406lo.jpg http://img168.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=64722_05b881790f_122_1164lo.jpg http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/6620/vectorw8fqogil1.jpg http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/1482/vectorw8fqogil2.jpg Countach into Vector: http://www.87thscale.info/showcase_31.htm http://www.1-87vehicles.org/images/Misc_cars/vector_coutach_lg.jpg The LEGO W8: http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/5024/19404993.jpg http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/6085/v7sn.jpg http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/9561/43914743.jpg http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/4651/37810778.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6001/47103241.jpg
Those Spark models are really cool! Love that blue roadster version...I also found a micro machine billed as an M12, but it might have been an AWX3
True story... Back in I want to say 1994, after I left the office, I made a run to LAX Airport to the Fedex office (the one that used to be on the airport - your packages went from the clerks hands right onto the airplane). If you missed Fedex pick up, you could drop it at the airport as late as 7pm for East Coast/8PM for West Coast. Anyway, when I went up to the counter, next to me was a gentleman with a handful of those silver Vector Avtech Hot Wheels in little bags (how they came). I struck up a brief conversation how I was a Vector fan and loved the Avtech. He gave me a car. Kept it for years, I finally sold it back in the early 2000s. I didn't get a business card though
Holy crap!!! I had no idea there were that many Vector models! I would love to get the W2 and WX-3 one's but I doubt I'll be able to find them, even on ebay. Chris
Also note there were different Hotwheel WX3´s: purple with UH (ultra hot) wheels or 5-spoke wheels black with 5-spoke wheels Then you have the complete range of different W2 models and all three versions of the Avtech (silver and teal coupe plus roadster) from Ban Seng. The Galoob MicroMachines WX3 came in different colors (even glow in the dark) and in different sets with other cars and vehicles. The yellow SPARK W8 came in two versions: open or closed headlights.
They usually sell for less than 150$. This one went for less than 125$: no sale: Hot Wheels Super RARE 1 of 500 Vector Avtech WX 3 with Vector Buissness Card | eBay then relisted: Hot Wheels Super RARE 1 of 500 Vector Avtech WX 3 with Vector Buissness Card | eBay
