The W8 hold up well for 80s coolness...obviously better than DeLorean (style) and almost better than a Diablo.
Stumbled upon something interesting today worthy of a mention in this thread. Enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am much more fan of the W series vs the M series. Hadn't noticed the design of the rear spoiler on the M series was very similar to Pete Brock's Ghia Sport 5000 back in 1966.
There is one in a Canadian collections, no I have talked to seem to know it's VIN Image Unavailable, Please Login
How many black M12s were there? I saw a black one at the Peterson Museum in California last year. Chris
Just reading my old magazines & read that the first 2 W8's were headed to Saudi Arabia...but only 1 went? I'm also curious about the purple one & its "delivery" , as I read an odd story on a forum but not sure what's true..?
Also, did the production cars have heads up display? I've noticed the control knob for it, but it isn't mentioned in any of my magazines...
Except for the red 1992 Chassis 011 which suposedly is stroed in the vast Saudi Royal garages: http://www.youtube.com/vectorfiles
Well, it was purchased by the Emir of Qatar who then gave it to the King´s son Mohammed bin Fahd as a present. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_bin_Fahd The car was shipped from California to Doha, Qatar first. Unfortunately, it is close to impossible to get any further info on today´s whereabouts of the last missing VECTOR W8. Chassis 011 is the car that was used for the official VECTOR W8 borchure and 1992 press photos: http://www.google.de/search?q=vector+w8&um=1&hl=de&client=opera&rls=de&channel=suggest&tbm=isch&source=lnt&tbs=ic:specific,isc:red&sa=X&ei=DnmlT62fFqbT4QSK4ojDCQ&ved=0CBsQpwU&biw=991&bih=657
